The long haired Git with an earing and ponytail that designed all that. Has never had to change anything in service and never held a spanner in their life 😃
Chris your videos are excellent even if your doin the same thing all the time makes me laugh probably most of your subscribers are of the same should post everyday keeps us all sane keep up the good work professional swearer
If they had scania out and he says it's the compressor, then I don't see how it's any fault of urs Chris,,, they should have got u in the first place is my thinking,, another great video pal
Well Chris great lesson for all today, dont assume, dont do what you're told & pick the right diesel nozel, mind you the old struggle bus is running sweet on high grade vodka....Have a good one...
Just discovered your channel now I’m glued Good to see how you show how we work day in day out it’s a dying trade now nobody wants to do the work apart from us mugs 🤣🤣
Chris, on the Scanias you can buy the repair kit for those air driers now where the exhaust passes air. Worth an enquiry, and a much easier job. Thanks for the great videos as always!
As always a cracking video, some proper professional struggling going on there mate. Designers should have a few weeks on the spanners, they'll spend a fortune deciding what shape the headlights should be with no consideration for the bloke fixing the machinery behind them. Have good weekend.
Hi Chris, glad to see you back after a few days. Job sounded a nightmare to start with then got worse!! Professional struggler that you are soon got it sorted. Enjoy your Easter bank holiday Chris, catch you on the next one👍
Chris you can get a special little tool for those blue raufoss fittings but the only problem is each tool only does one size of pipe so multiple special tools are required and even worse they aren’t cheap neither as a set🥴
On the new GEN scania the pressure sensors fail inside the APS unit common issue with these, But you can just replace the pressure sensors instead of whole unit. Thanks for the good videos Chris 👍
Pressure sensors on the air dryer.... those go bad, then you get the pssss..... ain't the compressor & ain't the dryer often - some of them sneak the pressure sensors down further onto the next air relay.
A proper struggle Chris, that bad it took twice the trouble. Great job as per usual, far quicker than a Technician would take in an air conditioned shop. Have a safe and happy Easter.
Yo chris scania is pretty good kit tbf but im a volvo fan i just find them ok to work on and love there 16litre engine which they also put in there dumpers [A40 D,E,F,G&SUM OF THERE DIGGERS BULLET PROOF OLD LOT ,yeah i have learnt the hard way listening to other peeps diagnostics!!!!bloody goid show m8!!!!😂😂😂
Love this channel looking forward to ever episode .. just one suggestion and it may be a picky one but when you when the background music maybe lower it or cut it out when speaking I really struggled to hear you on this video unless I put 100% focus on the video which sometimes I play them as I am working or Messing with stuff around the house and I really struggles to hear what you were saying personally
I know it’s too late now but all it would have been is the exhaust valve faulty on the bottom of the air dryer. They are a common problem and you can get them on there own.
Chris I have a 7.5 tonne aveco lorry that will not turn over is there a fuse for the starter we have just got the truck am charging the batterys to night so I will be working on ìt in the morning some advice would be appreciated please mate thanks
I would hate working on cab overs, I’ll stick to a normal tractor with a hood. Premium diesel stops pre-ignition 🤪 We are up to $2.00 CAD for a litre of diesel here.
I would blame the scania lad to be honest as he is the one who said compressor ,i would like to think domeone with a basic understanding of an air system could diagnoise a APU correctly never mind a dealer trained lad who specialises on that particular brand
They only say it's compressor so they can sell you a new expensive part, same as AA and RAC always say your battery is knackered so they can sell you a new 1 when there's nothing wrong with your own. It's only flat because you cranked it too much.
These new gens are the biggest bag of shit going. I got one there that is on its 4 air dryer and its 3rd brake modulating valve plus all the other crap that has failed on it in 3 years. There's enough parts to fill a mini skip. Have to spanner the bag of shit weekly its currently popping water hoses.
fuck me Chris im bitching at $2.00 Australian a litre ,,, fuck me thats near $4.00 AUD And i have a 6.5 GM turbo diesel in the motorhome That would cost me $400 to go to Sydney and back to Nowra ,, fuck that i think i would get a wheelbarow ! HAHAHA WOOP WOOP Keep em coming BIG MAN !

Those punch fit air connectors are saving up trouble for someone else in the future, I bloody hate them 😱😱😱😱
Your a good spanner man Chris. I hope that company put their hand up and didn't try and pass the buck. Stay safe mucka
Always good when your mechanic says "....where the fucks that from..." While holding a piece that says Scania 😂. love the crack. Lol

Those new shape scanias are prone for fracturing a valve in the air drier, can hear it flying out but bad to pin point where on the side of the road.
I know it’s too late now but all it would have been is the exhaust valve faulty on the bottom of the air dryer. They are a common problem and you can get them on there own.
Love watching these videos
Nice one struggler excellent video have a great weekend 🚛🚜🚛🚜🚛🚜
Hi Chris great struggle , Do you need to program in the new airdryer so it is recognised by the ECU

We'd be over the moon with that ours is 1.70 at the minute. Nearly 3 Canadian pesos
What's the music track from 4.18 onwards?
