Hey. I have a question. Why were the shop keepers not aggressive in Stage 3 when you killed one in Stage 1 Do they have to be triggered by sight or something like cavemen or is it a bug when those Dollar Signs show up.
It keeps amazing me how much content there already was in Classic. I thought it was all new in Spelunky 2 and required lots of communnity feedback and proposals to come up with but nope, Classic has almost all the mechanics and enemies that are in 2 and that I just didn't reach or notice in HD.
ok, so if you hurt a shopkeeper but don't kill him, you're not wanted in the later levels? neat. also, where'd you get the rng for both a jetpack and a mattock on the second level? that's crazy!
Sorry if this is a dumb question but can anyone tell me what the name of the controller display in the corner is? I know it's an app, I used to have it but I can't find it anywhere
@@Grooomp I know about that one but I remember having downloaded an app that does the same thing offline, just wondering if that's still available anywhere since I'd rather not use a browser. Thanks for the reply

@@sbeveloaf1120 the whip rob only aggros that one particular shopkeeper, not all shopkeepers

there are also several things that are in classic and 2 but not HD! madame tusk, dice shops, bow/arrow come to mind

@@grubguy4130 it certainly is. I've gotten pretty used to it in a couple weeks of play though, and it feels fine once you accept the jank

The mattock in this game had a random set of uses if I recall correctly. Sometimes it could only break a single block. Others would last 100
