Hi Cody, I love your channel!!! I'm a guitar player from North Carolina with a broken back...so I definitely understand where you're coming from with lighter guitars. I love your reviews...all of them!!! Keep these cool videos coming..... keep on rockin'!!! 😎👍❤️🎸
Cool, thanks! I’m trying to get the room finished so I can get some more posted. It’s been a slow process so thanks for hanging in there. There’s more coming soon!
Hey Chuck, I found a company that makes waist straps. It’s been a life(back)saver for me. I’ve only had it for about a week but I’ll probably do a review of it for anyone interested. They’re called Slinger Straps out of Los Angeles. I found them on reverb. Fwiw.
@@DerpRulesAll I’ve unfortunately never been able to play through the Vox yet. I had a Peavey Express 112 at one point that really impressed me but dang, it weighed like it was the CS800s cousin!
I remember arbour guitars! I had a friend that had a strat style that he’d either turned into a Frankie or possibly bought it that way. The action was high as a giraffe’s balls!
On the dirty channel it definitely has an audible hiss but once you’re playing.. The clean channel doesn’t suffer the same unless you’re playing single coils with my dirty electricity! But it does take pedals reasonably well and sounds better than a lot of the other practice amps in the same range. And it’s a loud bulletproof amp to boot!
@@cheapguitarchannel518 yeah they are bulletproof to be fair. My favourite little practice amp is without a shadow of a doubt the Behringer (V-tone gm108). It's just so much fun.

@@cheapguitarchannel518 Thank you so much!!! I'll definitely check them out.
You hear people talking about the Vox Pathfinder, but the Rage 258 (and the 158, for that matter) sound much better at high gain than the Vox does.

@@cheapguitarchannel518 I never had a Peavey. I owned a Fender Frontman that I sold, and good riddance! 😂
I actually did a gig where my back line amp was a frontman with some knobs broke off. It was not pretty! Lol
I bought one back in 1987 to go wirh a arbour guitar. Never did learn how to play.
Is the Rage 258 rechargable ?

It’s not battery powered, so no, it’s not rechargeable.

Thank you
I find that amp a bit noisy, I mean the one I owned had a noticeable and somewhat annoying background hiss. It's ok as a practice amp
