For those who are saying clutch must be pulled fully that's right but he didn't said that you should change gears with this technique it's fine if you just want to disengage the engine because you just want to cut off the engine power that time like when you are constantly riding bike on clutch in traffic in 1st gear you aren't changing gears it's better to use this technique as it will be good for your hands as well just remember to press it fully when changing gears that can have a effect but for disengaging purpose it's fine to keep clutch released a little bit

Yes, clutch adjustments are not always the same in all bikes. Pulling the clutch not fully doesn't mean a half cluctch. They don't understand. My bike doesn't need to pull fully while others need.

@sourabhbhalecreation see when you have completely released the clutch, it gets well connected to the engine, the way it is supposed to be.. even if you have pressed the clutch slightly, the clutch and Engine are not well engaged, there could be friction, this may cause harm to the clutch plate.
