I appreciate this review. I picked one up today for my family and it's good to know you need a foot above the unit. I will read instructions but I'm in the same boat as you are. With not a lot of room above where I was going to put the unit.
That's about the size of my microwave. The space I'd save by replacing the three individual appliance with one would be nice. The 12" clearance on top makes it an impossibility. I'm impressed with how it worked.
I had a Galanz for years. , bulky hardware ,lousy functioning. Real heavy kit . So thankfully I got this at Wamart yesterday and real pleased.Very light cooking gear.😎
Thank you for sharing the information of the 1 foot clearance above the unit. I was looking to replace my old 700 watt microwave, and had seen this one that also air fries. Oh well, I will keep looking
there are countertop appliance sliders you can get...let's you pull it out from under the cabinets when using then slide back when you're not...scary part for me is when part of the unit goes out, like just the microwave part for example, then you're stuck having that unit while still needing to buy a new microwave...now you have two large appliances on the counter...or if the air fryer feature goes out, etc...might be best to keep separate things separate
I have had this oven since May. I have cooked everything in it, I use it everyday. Unfortunately, the other day it worked to defrost my meat, when I went to cook something else, the unit no longer worked! I called them, I have to return it to Connecticut and I am responsible for the shipping, they do not reimburse you for the postage. They said I cannot physically bring it there only ship it. After they receive it,they will send me a new one. My concern will the new one only last 6 months and have to spend another $40.00 plus dollars to return it! I do love the unit though!
I did popcorn and I actually needed it to pop longer that the setting called for it. Also, there is a film over the whole area of the buttons that you are suppose to remove and that's how you get the sticker removed
I wanted a airftyer oven. Yes, I like it when a inventor combines an product invention. When a new product comes on the market, I usually wait a while cuz I know another upgrade is soon 2 follow.
I think it's pretty cool when they put a few appliances into one. I'm sure an updated version is just around the corner. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Thanks for posting this. It definitely helped me make my decision to buy this unit. Much much cheaper and quieter than the Advantium I bought for >$1000 18 years ago. That thing sounded like having a jet airplane in your kitchen.
I've had mine for about 9 months and rarely use my stove. I'm in a small 2 room apt with a kitchenette and my Power XL MW, AF, & oven is on top of my fridge which give me the required space I need. The only complaint I have is there no reheat setting. If I want to reheat pizza or ribs I have to use the MW. But other than that the 200 bucks I paid was well worth it.
Well done! Best one we've watched so far. I'm looking into the 12 inch limit to upper cabs. we have 8" but with the exhaust fan on I think that keeps the air moving enough. I'll let you know.
We have had combination microwave ovens before they requ8re 30 cm clearance from main heat exhaust this is a pretty normal clearance your wall cupboards be very low down I am 5" 9 I need a step to reach back of second shelf of wall cupboard. We also fit heat and fire resistant sheet on the underside of the cupboard above the appliance. I recommend these especially I'll if your cupboard are plastic coated veneer
I don't know. My daughter wants one for Christmas. Mainly for the air fryer. I may look for just an air fryer. Her apartment came with an oven and microwave. Its a small apartment. Not sure she has room for the 12 inch clearance.
I returned mine, this was so time consuming to clean up after you cooked or broiled something. Personally it was the biggest waste of money for me. Although if you are limited on space and need an all it one type of cooker, this was great!
Awesome 👌. I would love it. Just burn 🔥 off the oil 🛢 outside first. A little worried about the noise. I wouldn't want a Rock to prop up this thing to be quite. $?? How much?
I bought this microwave about 2 years ago, never used the airfryer or baked. I have lost my manual and would love to know all the micro menu codes you were going over.
I have a Cosori Air Fryer, an Instant Pot and a regular Microwave; and I love all of them. Seems to me that having a combo microwave oven may cause some confusion/trouble in choosing different cook functions; i.e. someone placing a metal baking pan inside and accidentally hitting the MICROWAVE button.
Well, checking the cooking function on ONE unit should be no more difficult that deciding which of THREE unit's you are going to put your food in. Doh!
I have this unit. I find the fan to be really noisy. Also, when I bake a potato and many other things the inside is is soaking wet.. do you find that problem?
@@Jeffreviews4u You just went around and did not answer my question does any air fryer cookbook work with the power XL also how do you get any kind of stains off of it or something has cooked and splattered since you have no cover for it maybe you could answer that question
Looking at using in a cargo trailer that's converted tor also camping in. I don't have the space limitations (great information) so I think it will work well. If you kept this (or gave to a friend) just wondering how it faired over the last couple years? When researching these machines many don't seem to last too long. Thanks in advance and if not, thanks all the same :)
I gave this to a friend of mine for his RV. It has been working well for him. I did see that some have had trouble with the glass plate breaking. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
I've been watching your video for Power XL. Looking at your microwave on the front, you have the menu printed out on the surface. How did you get that up there? I'm 72, my kids bought me this set up, I'm not really sure how this is all done. I've watched 3 videos already.
I bought an early Cuisinart model that is a combination convection oven/microwave. It was a disaster. It couldn't heat above 325 degrees. It came with the same wire rack as the oven you are reviewing. It did not come with a fitted pan for the rack, and I would burn myself on that rack all the time reaching into the oven. The rack also warped which make it unsteady. I also had to put it on a cart for the added clearance. What a pain in a small kitchen. Have you tried a thermometer to ascertain whether it heats to the indicated temp while in oven/bake mode? I've been looking for a combination appliance like this for a long time. Seems like it may need another generation of improvement before they work all of the kinks out of it. I think I'd have to return yours for the noise issue alone. That doesn't seem like something that's going to correct itself over time.
Can you demo the Aobosi Toaster Oven Air Fryer Oven Toaster Convection Oven? I’d like to know how it compares to the other ones you’ve done before I buy it
Thank you for your review. I lost all interest in this product. The minute you mentioned the 12 inches above I just wouldn’t know where to place this in my kitchen. Cheers M.
I would have expected to remove all of the plastic parts before air frying or baking. Odds are, the 12” above is primarily a CYA on n their part. If your cabinets have plastic veneers, covers, or coatings, you definitely want to open the cabinet door above the unit when using it as anything but the microwave. Put your hand between the cabinet and unit to see how hot it gets. Most of the time you’re probably ok. Just keep a watch on it to make sure the cabinet doesn’t get too hot.
Was told it gets too hot outside of it and heats a room up !! I bought one before I knew all about it so I’m taking it back to much hassle to cook with codes and functions need life to be less stressful these days !! And what’s up with the smell issue ?
Of course it will smell at "burn off". You're burning off industrial oil, not food oil. I'd probably clean the inside with some "Dawn" soap first, just to get out some oil first, then finish with the "burn off". The knob is a stupid design. They could replace all those useless "presets" with a keypad.
But only agree especially since they aren't in English words or abr. to let you know what they are just idiot things like A11 you would have to loo everything

It's about darn near the exact same size as my microwave but I have it butt up against the fridge on one side and all the way back against the counter on the back with only about 5in clearance on top, is all that distance away from everything really necessary?
