I love Canada and Canadian soldiers so this is wonderful news that they are permanently (I hope) back from the Hell of Afghanistan and I wish Canada a healing period and better treatment has to come for soldiers worldwide! I have had great experiences in Canada and miss it very much.

As a US Army (ISAF) combat veteran, I can honestly say that I loved working and socializing with you Canucks. Which also interpretates, that I have nothing but the utmost respect for you people, military and civilian. Glad ya all made it back home, even if it's your cold ass home!

Canadian and US forces were ambushed and outnumbered by the enemy...She stood by on the radio calling in airstrikes by A10's until the last few minutes of the fight before she was killed. Every person on base shared in the Canadian troops sadness that day. A true hero for Canada and a terrible waste of a fantastic person.
