I would not have so much hatred for them if they were a bit more honest. Their websites always say things like "Looking to change career?" or "Want a job that suits you?". I have never been offered anything beyond supermarket level work and if they can't find any work I get no contact whatsoever
I going to be doing this for the first time The only Reason because I’ve known people that went to job agencies and had permanent positions and gain connections through that job to get better opportunities
How do recruiting firms pay the commissions of a recruiter.
Could I offer my temporary employees that are on loan from an agency a retirement account like a Simple IRA even though they are not technically employed by me?

What annoys me is that I’m only a volunteer job seeker, the job agencies that I go to explain that to me but they keep on forgetting that I am because they keep on dictating things to me all the time and I’m getting sick of it!! I’m only with you on a VOLUNTARY basis not mandatory!! I wish these job agencies would look up the difference between those two words because clearly they don’t know the difference at all!!

Nah I don’t work for staffing agencies. Not when i would see the amount of cuts on my weekly checks.
what you do is just screen the key words that was stated in the resume n letter then pick that up. gone are the days of I Q test
I applied for a job in Australia, they sent me an email that they have sent written invitation.
Agencies even lie when they posts positions that pay high on Indeed, Glassdoor, Craigslist, etc...
Do some (or all) agencies do the payroll for their clients too? Or do most leave that up to the client?

I never received advice. I was told as an Amercan in EU that not many companies found my Military and federal job skills important. I was told I was infaxable expected too much money and I made coworkers uncompfortable, plus I would be better off going back to US.
