- Musicians Karen O and Molly Lewis, the world's best professional whistler, perform 'Just a Closer Walk with Thee' from the 1967 Harry Dean Stanton-classic COOL HAND LUKE, at the Harry Dean Stanton Award Show on October 23, 2016. Vidiots' first "Harry Dean Stanton Award" tribute took place at the Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles on October 23, 2016. The show was produced by Vidiots Foundation, Harper Simon, Leslie Wilson, Logan Sparks, Sophie Huber, and Laila Nabulsi to benefit Vidiots. The show's epic House Band was led by Harper Simon and included musicians Carla Azar, Paz Lenchantin, Benji Lysaght, and Will Canzoneri. The show was shot and edited by Vidiots friend and supporter Garrett Sutton.
