Wolverine Wildcat is actually on its way to being a great coaster. It got Titan Track and Gravity Group track that both reprofiled the first half very well. It legit gives good airtime. The untouched second half is underwhelming where you can tell it supposed to give airtime but doesn't. But if GCI & GG touch that section up too, it will turn Wolverine into a great wood coaster.

There were confirmed reports that Six Flags and RMC were well advanced in the conversion project for Le Monstre at La Ronde and this was meant to happen for the 2017 season which was the 50th anniversary of the park. Unfortunately, they couldn't figure out an agreement with RMC to align with Quebec/Canada laws and the use of non-local workers or something along those lines. The project eventually got parked and La Ronde added Titan (Giant Discovery) as a last minute replacement for that season. It really hurts to think that the layout plans of the RMC conversion do exist somewhere, that Alan Schilke worked on those at one point, and that we might never see those ever come to fruition. Maybe with the merger and new budget philosophy, this window will reopen for La Ronde...
It's be great to see those plans, although I have a hunch they'd have cut out the second half to create a Mobius layout like Twisted Colossus. La Ronde just isn't big enough for 8,000 ft of wood coaster track, but hopefully they can make the best of a bad layout with Titan Track or GG EPT.
I've spoken to various Le Ronde employees about it, it was never a legal issue about steel or labour laws or whatever rumours you've heard. It was a budget issue. Le Ronde couldn't afford it and had to "indefinitely postpone" the project.

You know, we press it and the park ends up liking Coaster Express RMC's request. This doesn't mean anything, but we do know that both parks are aware of RMC's incredible option and will probably end up surprising the world at some point, especially Parque Warner Madrid, which is the most realistic for it to become a reality.
Even though it’s a pipe dream, as an MA local, a Wolverine Wildcat RMC would be a dream come true. A well-maintained ST, RMC WW, great mouse and rideable SLC would actually get me to the park pretty frequently
With the Titan track they've added, it'd be awesome if MA would eventually add an inversion or two and Infinity Flyer trains. Could see this happening when they finally decide to retire Corkscrew.
They need to RMC Hoosier Hurricane at Indiana Beach. The park has 3 CCIs and HH is the weakest but the plot of land it’s on would be awesome for an RMC conversion. Especially that dive under the entrance bridge.
The elements seem well suited to a conversion as well. The large double up could get the trick track treatment and the turnaround screams Untamed to me.
I 100% agree with this and would throw Tornado at Adventureland in there as well because the problems I have with that coaster are the same as I have with Hoosier Hurricane.
I still 100% believe the absolute number 1 best wooden coaster to be RMCed right now is Boss. The layout would actually be perfect for an RMC and it would be so good for that park that needs a ride that good.
It was on the table in 2019 and plans were in place. Then Covid. So the intent seems to be there. I believe after the merger we might see it come to fruition.
@@maxhagenauer24 it feels like most parks are shying away from RMC and deciding to go with Titan Track. It’s the more cheaper route and there hasn’t been an RMC conversion since 2019
@jzckvsn 2019? Wildcats Revenge was 2023 and Iron Gwazi was 2022. Are you saying RMCs where they don't remove the entire wooden structure and instead keep and build off of it? Because I would still consider Iron Gwazi and Wildcats Revenge conversions of the old wooden coasters they were. I would be surprised if parks would be shying away from such good rides that are considered some of the best coasters ever.
Knew Bandit was going to be included on this list and you're 1000% correct. The ride gave me a massive headache after just riding it once. I loved it as a kid but it's been neglected so badly that it's just unrideable now. The public probably loves it because they remember the ride that it was, it was much less harsh/janky/flat-out hazardous for your health after it was built.
Wolverine wildcat got A LOT of track work of the 22-23 off season and now it has fantastic air time in the first half. the only semi bad section is after the double down but other than that it’s a good ride!
Totally agree. I was blown away by my rides last summer. With how brutal Shivering Timbers was, I ended up riding Wolverine Wildcat a lot more, and it was quite memorable.
My vote is Timber Wolf at WOF...rode it for the first time 2 years ago and was appalled. I felt it should be shut down immediately! Also would make up for Zambezi Zinger being Prowler-lite. Not that ZZ is bad, I was just so disappointed because WOF really needs a good new ride and an RMC would do just that.
1000% agree Timber Wolf is in need of RMC. Even after they retracked it and changed the middle part of the ride to make it faster it’s still painful on your back. I live in the KC area and have heard horror stories of company work picnics where people have rode the ride on the weekend and Monday morning 40 people have been to the hospital with back problems. Thank god the park has Mamba and Prowler as a 1, 2 punch .
Guys, Montezum at Hopi Hari!!!! That thing is terrible! Its unbearably rough at a point that local coaster enthusiasts tend to not ride it, even though its the largest coaster in South America! It literally has fractured peoples' ribs a couple of years ago, it's at my top 3 of worst coasters out of 140 creds... Hopi Hari is a park that needs much more a rmc than parque warner, for example (I didn't really care about Coaster Express, it wasn't rough, just boring hahahaha), plus it would give south america an elite coaster, at last Yeah, that thing definitely should be on this list
WoF was my home park for a long time, and I know that they just got Zambezi Zinger, but I feel like Timberwolf would make an amazing RMC and give that park a true stand out ride
Been saying for years, Hoosier Hurricane at Indiana Beach would be a great candidate. It's a very photogenic already and would really replace a meh wooden coaster with a true #1 at that park.
Absolutely GREAT choice on Bandit!!! (Been saying it for years!)Magnus Colossus is just a boring bumpy ride, with a fantastic view!! The city, Benidorm, is a MAJOR tourist destination (especially for the British), known for its’ beaches!! That would really pick that park up, as the theming throughout is fantastic!! But… Leave Jupiter alone!!! And yes, it is a solid coaster!! If GCI came in and retracked it, it would blow your mind!! It has such a great, long layout - I’d actually hate to see it RMC’d!
I'd have mixed feelings about RMC'ing Loup Garou at Walibi Belgium. I really enjoyed it as a kid, but I feel like it has just been badly maintained. I'd probably love the result of an RMC conversion, but I also can't help feeling like a proper retrack could restore its former glory.
Montezum at Hopi Hari is another RCCA coaster that really needs the RMC treatment. It looks pretty cool bc it’s huge, it stands out from the road and you go right above its first drop when you get to the park, but it has gotten to the point where some people get ACTUALLY hurt while riding it, and it would also be the only RMC hybrid in South America
When I saw the tweet from RMC yesterday, it got me thinking how good an RMC Hellcat at Clementon would be. Like, they could make the first big hill a strong outerbank.
We don't give loup-garou the attention and mostly don't do it anymore. We only still ride it with someone who hasn't and have a good laugh to see their reactions 😅. Bandit is also on top of my RMC wishlist.
RMC boss would instantly make six flags St. Louis one of the best parks in the chain. The existing coaster lineup would complement it so well & it would be the standout coaster this park desperately needs
RMC boss NEEDS to happen! Hell, I’d even be happy if they just retracted it with the current layout. Something needs to happen with that abomination of a ride
Also, some awful coasters need RMC treatment similar to Mean Streak to Steel Vengeance. Some are somewhat great and need to get GCI or GG treatment similar to Ghost Rider.
Maybe for the ride’s 50th in 2029 since Wrath of Rakshasa is coming next year and I highly doubt that they get major coasters in back to back years. However I know there’s some zoning laws in place that heavily restrict what the park can do with it, due to I-94 being wider than it was when Eagle was built
My dream coaster is Wild Beast @ CW being converted into a recreation of the Crystal Beach Cyclone. But, knowing domestic construction laws, it will probably just stay that- a dream.
Man, converting Coaster Express at my home park (Parque Warner) would be amazing and would definitely turn the park into a must visit for a lot of people. However, I see the same problem as you mentioned with Loup Garou, it is insanely popular amongst some people. Went to the park and Coaster Express had the same wait time as freaking Gotham City Escape, the worst coaster in the park had the same wait time as one of the best coasters in Europe, meanwhile Superman was a walk-on. But despite that, please, please, please Parque Warner RMC Coaster Express. It would be my wildest theme park dream right now!
I actually agree with most of what you've said, except for Loop Garou, which I quite enjoy, and Jupiter! Jupiter is a seriously fantastic coaster, I enjoyed it that much that it became one of the top "surprise" coasters of my Japan trip!
That’s great to hear! We haven’t heard much about Jupiter at all… I don’t even think I’ve met anyone who’s ridden it. That makes it tough to judge how it rides. Glad you enjoyed it, I hope to get on it one day
Of this list, in favor of Boss and Le Monstre. I have ridden each of them, and both are in my bottom rankings. Hurler, while boring, was running smoothly last time i was at Carowinds. However, an RMC conversion similar to Twisted Timbers would definitely help round out the park’s coaster collection. I also say demolish Hurler and build a giant custom topper track RMC. Nice video Taylor and Sarah!! 😊
Let’s talk about coasters that had missed opportunities. Obviously Son of Beast had literally JUST missed. Had it been SBNO for a bit longer, could’ve been a candidate. Also Rolling Thunder. When RMC was converting so many woodies in the chain, Great Adventure being my home park I was FOR SURE that we were next, but then they kept removing more and more structure smh. Could’ve been a nice addition to the park’s lineup.
Pretty sure Kings Island talked to RMC about Son of Beast but decided it was too risky. Even if it'd been structurally feasible (highly unlikely), it just wasn't a good layout to work with. Not complaining that they have Banshee and Mystic Timbers instead.
All for Hurler getting RMC'd! Also, I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but a ground-up Son of Beast reimagining would just be incredible. It'd be the comeback kid story of the century lol.
I think RMC should extend Twisted Colossus. Add 2 or 3 more elements on the still existing footers from the original Colossus by what's currently the break run so dueling can happen more regularly (ie allowing a little bit more time to dispatch). It's a solid RMC as is but I know I wouldn't be complaining if they extended that layout and made the dueling work better.
Anaconda at Walygator Grand Est in France is a great shout! The park hasn’t had a new coaster since 2010 and an RMC would be a great stand out coaster alongside their B&M Invert Monster.
I liked Werewolf at Walibi Belgium during there Winter opening. It rode better than I did it in the summer times. I think that new trains from GCI and a good retrack would do wonders.
As someone who hasn't ridden any of these, I see this as an absolute win! As much I know that a Bandit retrack would be great, you misscalculated something. Movie Park Germany is less than 2 hours from Walibi Holland.
Would be cool to see a video (maybe even a miniseries!) of you two taking a certain coaster model and sharing thoughts on which parks they could fit well at, kinda like the video you did for Axis a while back!
For Le Monstre, there was a rule/law that was forbidding RMC to come with their own workers, whic made the convertion difficult. Also, in french, we don't pronounce the P in loup. So you need to say it like Lou
@@OOFUS4103 It didn't really make sense after Discovery Kingdom RMC'd Roar into Joker. At least CGA got one of the first Raptors, though. Between that, a ground-up GCI, a GCI retrack of Grizzly, and a floorless conversion of Vortex, Cedar Fair treated the park about as well as its attendance and revenue allowed them to. Just hope that Gold Striker and a dozen-ish flats can stay open as a FEC of sorts.
Wait!!! What? I’ve ridden a roller coaster you two haven’t ridden with shivering Timbers!? It’s one the the best woodies I’ve ridden. Y’all have to get on it!!!!
I know Worlds of Fun just got the reimagined Zambezi Zinger, but man... I really wish they would have RMC'd Timber Wolf. I rode it this year for the first time in 5 or 6 years, and it's just getting worse. I have a ton of nostalgia for the ride, but they need to do something to make it more consistently ridable.
Wolverine Wildcat got a lot of new wood track in addition to the Titan track. Everything between the first and second turnarounds has been retracked and reprofiled. It has some ferocious ejector in the front row now. That section rides like Mystic Timbers now. But with strong ejector. It really doesn't need RMC. It was better than Blue Streak in 23. If they keep adding new wood it's going to be absolutely incredible.
The best part about what RMC does as a company is their versatility, their long term plan. They put themselves on the map as a conversion company. Now, they're popular for their innovative ground-up creations. BUT they still have that history of converting old, shaky wooden coasters into works of art. So down the road, say 25-50 years, when all the current wooden coasters getting built DO need some love? RMC will still be there to be like "pick me pick me!" RMC is not going anywhere, the way they built themselves as a company has really ensured that. I have no doubt we will see more conversions down the road. Who knows what they will have come up with by then!o
Honorable mention: Speaking of Vekoma-built wooden coasters, there is one that is seldom mentioned on any coaster channel. That being Thundercoaster, located at Tusenfryd (Norway). Opened in 2001, it ran really smooth in its early years. I've been on it twice, once back in its opening year, and the second time back in 2003. However, it has gotten a bad reputation over the later years for being very rough, especially in the second half of the layout. It also got a different train set from what came originally with it, and these newer trains doesn't run as fast as the original ones did. In its early years, on the best days it could reach a top speed of 100 km/h (62 mph) coming out of the second drop, while nowadays, it can at best reach 93 km/h (57 mph). Granted, its layout is pretty good, giving riders an amazing, fast-paced ride that is packed with air-time moments, and strong laterals, and while I haven't been at the park for a long time, there is a possibility that they fixed the roughness on Thundercoaster. But, since it has gotten a worse reputation over the years, it is greatly overshadowed by the park's newer steel coasters, most notably the ever popular Speed Monster (an Intamin creation), and the new dragon themed one which opened last year (Gerstlauer triple-launch). So, I really have great wish that Thundercoaster gets the RMC treatment. Not necessarily a full rebuild, but some new elements packed into its already great layout.
How about RMC Wilde Beast at Canada’s Wonderland - I love the airtime it gives but it would be such an awesome RMC. There have been markers on the footers there similar to previous conversions, and that park could do with a non-B&M standout in my opinion.
I hope Wilde Beast at Canada's Wonderland also gets an RMC treatment. The only problem is there is apparently a law in Canada that may prevent RMC from doing this (they got away with a little topper track on Monstre). I believe they may subcontract MV Rides (based in Montreal) for this purpose
Last summer, Wolverine Wildcat was riding amazing. The airtime was great, and it was so smooth. It reminded me so much of Grizzly(KD). Both were very rough a few years ago, but now, both are mostly smooth, give great airtime, and RMC should stay far away from both. Honestly, I kind of liked Wolverine Wildcat more than Shivering Timbers on that visit. They are not taking care of Shivering Timbers at all. It's rougher than Boss now, but at least ST has airtime to make up for it, which Boss doesn't. Sarah can have my Boss credit too.
The Best part of Bandit? Is the fact that you are usually stuck on the brake run long enough for your head to clear so you do not fall over climbing out of the train..... Usually, but not always.
La Ronde which is my home park really needs a revival. The park needs a launch coaster, a new thrilling family coaster, and the RMC of Le Monstre. It could do with adding more family thrilling flat rides as the rumour has it that they have removed their HUSS condor and their Chance Falling Star. Plus Six Flags is stuck with this park till 2065 so they should try to get some money out of it.
Six Flags America is retheming their Crackaxle Canyon section where Roar is located to a steampunk town. This year is only cosmetic upgrades and new trains for the SLC. And while I haven't heard any rumors, Fiesta Texas has an RMC in their area (retconned in) and added a major coaster a few years after their retheme.
I know being a Birmingham Alabama local, I would love to see Rampage at Alabama Splash Adventure RMC'd. I know they are doing a major refurbishment on it but I just see so much potential with it as a RMC.
if you are going to put the Boss up here, might as well also add The Legend at Holiday World, essentially The Boss's "twin brother" as they are both CCI terrain coasters with a somewhat similar layout and design, constructed at the exact same time and opened the same season. I have never ridden the Legend but my step dad said it was VERY rough when he rode it back about 6 years ago and it has certainly had to have gotten much worse since then.
As a Michigan native and growing up going to Michigan’s Adventure at least once a year, I gotta say, RMCing Wolverine Wildcat would really get more people to go to the park.
There is a big problem with RMC and I wish @coasterStudios would talk about it more... the restraints. They are very claustrophobic on your lower half. That also means people don't fit well in them. Which means dispatches are slow and ride capacity is low. I get it, RMC's are aggressive rides that have ejector airtime unlike any other. But I suspect that was only made possible because of the restraints, and ride lockers etc etc which all affect capacity. Imagine if RMC could get trains and restraints like velocicoaster and pantheon!
Goliath at Great America needs a reup honestly, at launch i remember it was incredibly smooth and incredible, but now its a very rough ride and honestly the turns are somewhere nerve wracking to be on after the first drop... love from my home park!
there was a recent interview with a movie park employee and he said that bandit is by far their most popular ride. they count the numbers and every year it has the biggest draw from the crowd. they will only change the ride if they have to at some point i think most people ride it because woodies look great and not too extreme compared to looping coasters. a lot of people maybe also don't know that this is not how a woody is supposed to feel. so they might think this is normal.
ok so idk if this counts but i think giant dipper at santa cruz beach boardwalk could use some topper track or something. it just turned 100 years old and it’s like violently rough if you’re sitting in the back. the front is still enjoyable but last time i was there they weren’t even seating people in the last row. the ride is obviously super iconic so like def not a full rmc hybrid
Great list overall - can't say I disagree with any of them. It's so frustrating knowing that The Boss has the potential to be like Wildfire at Kolmården, but Six Flags would never prioritize 4,500 ft of I-Box track for St. Louis. However, if Zambezi Zinger gets Titan Track on its entire layout, I could see that happen for Boss. Cutting down those maintenance costs has to be a massive win-win for the park.
The Boss does not suck! BUT... St Louis doesnt seem to have the desire or budget to properly care for it... so. RMC it and hopefully less maintenance and much more popularity and money for the park. St Louis deserves more popularity cause its not a bad park!
The UK fans have been crying out for an RMC, I reckon Thorpe Park is the most likely to get one. But I can see Blackpool Pleasure Beach getting a single rail RMC one day, possibly to replace Infusion.

The ‘P’ in Loup Garoux is a silent P, so its sounds like Loo ! Great content as always !! 💪
Or else it sounds like it has an inversion. Loup Garou means werewolf btw.
It would be within their price point too, I was about to give the Timber Wolf a shout out too
1000% agree Timber Wolf is in need of RMC.
Completely agree with this, I’m a local and it’s kind of disappointing that they added another wooden coaster. Hopefully they plan to rmc timber wolf🥹
They can call it Werewolf!
Hopi Hari is a park that needs much more a rmc than parque warner, for example (I didn't really care about Coaster Express, it wasn't rough, just boring hahahaha), plus it would give south america an elite coaster, at last
Yeah, that thing definitely should be on this list
WoF was my home park for a long time, and I know that they just got Zambezi Zinger, but I feel like Timberwolf would make an amazing RMC and give that park a true stand out ride
Been saying for years, Hoosier Hurricane at Indiana Beach would be a great candidate. It's a very photogenic already and would really replace a meh wooden coaster with a true #1 at that park.
I feel like Roar at SFA needs to definetlly be RMC’D BADDDDD!!!
As long as they fix their restraints first, I'm down with any of these!
Exactly, don’t RMC Werewolf!
RMC conversion did miracles for Robin Hood (now untamed) in Walibi Holland. Don't see why it wouldn't for the other Vekoma woody.
Day 2 of asking for you to bring back coaster parody’s
I second that!
I third
I fourth that
I fifth that
I sixth that
Montezum at Hopi Hari is another RCCA coaster that really needs the RMC treatment. It looks pretty cool bc it’s huge, it stands out from the road and you go right above its first drop when you get to the park, but it has gotten to the point where some people get ACTUALLY hurt while riding it, and it would also be the only RMC hybrid in South America
Loup-Garou, second to last row is amazing, leave it or let GCI retrack it
When I saw the tweet from RMC yesterday, it got me thinking how good an RMC Hellcat at Clementon would be. Like, they could make the first big hill a strong outerbank.
That’d be a cool one!
I'd love this. They could make it into a hyper coaster, and do something very unique with that quick second drop and twister layout
Boss is already amazing it needs Gravity Group pre cut track no rmc
@@Coastervisuals98I agree
RMC boss NEEDS to happen! Hell, I’d even be happy if they just retracted it with the current layout. Something needs to happen with that abomination of a ride
I’ve noticed that SFSTL has been re-tracking different parts of it over the years. It’s my home park
@ my home park too. Last time I rode the boss it was so backbreaking that I told myself I’m not getting on it again until they do something drastic
Also, some awful coasters need RMC treatment similar to Mean Streak to Steel Vengeance. Some are somewhat great and need to get GCI or GG treatment similar to Ghost Rider.
American Eagle at SFGAm needs something, either rmc or titan track. I have a feeling that SF is going to do something big on Eagle for the park's 50th
Glad you enjoyed it, I hope to get on it one day
Rode on loup garou this month, it was pretty decent, maybe it was retracked recently
Amazing video as always! These picks are definitely more unique than the average coaster video.
I have a friend from Brazil who rode Iron Gwazi with me. She said she wishes the same treatment would be given to Montezum at Hope Hari! 😅
It’s wild to me that Taylor has 1000+ credits and none of them are shivering Timbers
Absolutely agree with Bandit. They need to do it imo 😊
👀 SoB could've been the second RMC after NTG gaddam what if
RMC Hercules at Dorney Park could've been something really special.
SoB had a ton of structural issues, which RMCing would just make way worse.
I want Roar to get RMCed as much as the next guy, but roar is actually really fun, it is smoother than most coasters in the park
Magnus Colossus looks awesome too from Benidorm, the park is up a hill so you can see it from really far away. I hope they can do something with it.
For Hoosier Hurricane I think they should go the Tonnerre 2 Zeus route with it, backwards seat and all!
I liked Werewolf at Walibi Belgium during there Winter opening. It rode better than I did it in the summer times. I think that new trains from GCI and a good retrack would do wonders.
Indeed, no RMC Werewolf please!
Along with the titan track, Wolverine wildcat also got a section completely redone by gci and it’s super smooth and fun
For Le Monstre, there was a rule/law that was forbidding RMC to come with their own workers, whic made the convertion difficult. Also, in french, we don't pronounce the P in loup. So you need to say it like Lou
That was proven wrong, some parts of la monstre have topper track from rmc
@@myopnonmusic5525 yes it was sold by RMC but installed by a Montreal cree
Carowinds is doing major track work to Hurler as we speak. Will be intriguing to see how it goes
Why are they investing in a coaster that nobody wants
@@marcusmcgraw3519 Hell if I knew.
Because ceder fair doesn't want another RMC after steel vengeance and twisted timbers have Ben a mantince nightmare of what I've heard
RMC THE BOSS!!!!
Amen about Wolverine Wildcat. It would really boost that park more positively than any other coaster you mentioned would do to their respective parks.
The last time I rode Hurler at Carowinds in the back seat and I was so rough, and I came off with a headache
This won't happen for obvious reasons, but an RMC'd Grizzly @ CGA would have been 👌🏼
Sad that cedar fair never gave the park that opportunity 😢
Totally agree with bandit being number one. It's soooo rough
Loup-Garou is a great coaster so for me it's not an emergency to retrack it
Loup Garou still exists outside of RCT?!? Mind blown... 😂
RMC Hoosier Hurricane would be such a dream (IB was my home park growing up). IB would continue to have a really unique and funky set of coasters
As someone who got Bandit as a woody in his home park I always appreciated Loup Garou (werewolf). These trains make it a lot more comfortable
Once I saw this video, I immediately knew Bandit would be on the list
The best part about what RMC does as a company is their versatility, their long term plan. They put themselves on the map as a conversion company. Now, they're popular for their innovative ground-up creations. BUT they still have that history of converting old, shaky wooden coasters into works of art. So down the road, say 25-50 years, when all the current wooden coasters getting built DO need some love? RMC will still be there to be like "pick me pick me!" RMC is not going anywhere, the way they built themselves as a company has really ensured that. I have no doubt we will see more conversions down the road. Who knows what they will have come up with by then!o
“That’s a big gworl” 😂 I love Sarah
Honorable mention:
Speaking of Vekoma-built wooden coasters, there is one that is seldom mentioned on any coaster channel.
Timber Wolf at WofF in Kansas City defiantly needs RMC!
Either of the woodies at Canada's Wonderland would be great RMC candidates especially Mighty Canadian Minebuster.
Bandit was my first Woodie and please just RMC it. I also would love to see Mammut as an RMC🎉
Roar at SFA is horrifically painful.
Roar at SFA probably just needs maintenance and MIllenium Flyer trains.
If they RMC’d The Boss, I would go back to the park.
Both of those coasters are amazing. CCI is goated the laterals and out of control layouts are so intense
LOUP GAROU IS GREAT THE LAY OUT IS GREAT THE TRAIN IS GREAT
As a Michigan native and growing up going to Michigan’s Adventure at least once a year, I gotta say, RMCing Wolverine Wildcat would really get more people to go to the park.
I vote Hades at Mt Olympus. Imagine record tall smashing into the tiny hole under the parking lot.
Goliath at Great America needs a reup honestly, at launch i remember it was incredibly smooth and incredible, but now its a very rough ride and honestly the turns are somewhere nerve wracking to be on after the first drop... love from my home park!
I used to say that the beast needs RMC, I take it back, it doesn’t. It’s over 40 years old and still runs strong today!
RMC should do a new Son of Beast ground up
there was a recent interview with a movie park employee and he said that bandit is by far their most popular ride. they count the numbers and every year it has the biggest draw from the crowd.
they will only change the ride if they have to at some point
i think most people ride it because woodies look great and not too extreme compared to looping coasters. a lot of people maybe also don't know that this is not how a woody is supposed to feel. so they might think this is normal.
ok so idk if this counts but i think giant dipper at santa cruz beach boardwalk could use some topper track or something. it just turned 100 years old and it’s like violently rough if you’re sitting in the back. the front is still enjoyable but last time i was there they weren’t even seating people in the last row. the ride is obviously super iconic so like def not a full rmc hybrid
SFStl needs our Final Boss
Great list overall - can't say I disagree with any of them. It's so frustrating knowing that The Boss has the potential to be like Wildfire at Kolmården, but Six Flags would never prioritize 4,500 ft of I-Box track for St. Louis. However, if Zambezi Zinger gets Titan Track on its entire layout, I could see that happen for Boss. Cutting down those maintenance costs has to be a massive win-win for the park.
Yes please!!!! Wolverine Wildcat!!!! WE DESERVE SOMETHING!!!!!!
