    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 лет назад +1

      Fantastic! I remember when I first started using Filmora and I'd create a zoom in one shot and then think, "Well now how am I suppose to exactly replicate the crop where I ended in the last shot and go from there?" The answer was obviously much simpler than I had thought, just a little difficult to explain to someone who has never done it before.

    • @JoesGeekShow
      @JoesGeekShow 5 лет назад +1

      @@Daniel_Batal you definitely broke it down in a good way. Better than I can. I shared this video with my comic book Facebook group so they can see the simplicity of it. And of course a few group members are struggling with trying to decide on an editor and of course I try to show they dont need to buy a $300 editor to make a good video.

    Excellent idea. While I might not want to pan and zoom that much on a single frame this method will come in handy. I wish you had included the end result of what you did. While I can sort of picture what was happing actually seeing the results would have been interesting.

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 лет назад +1

      I never pan and zoom that much on a single shot either, it was just an example for teaching purposes.
      The end result plays at the very beginning of the video and again the end with the words ‘“Here’s the result” on screen.

      Took me a forever to figure that out when I first started. I would cut a piece of footage, put in my Pan & Zoom and then I'd want to start the next piece of footage from where the last one left off and I had no idea how to match it up. It always was a little bit off.

    Daniel. I’ve been using Filmora (for Mac) for years and use the crop and zoom LOADS BUT even I couldn’t follow that with just a single watch. So good for you for getting people to watch multiple times. However, did you actually show the results of all that work or did I miss something?

    Ah! I did not realize Filmora allowed for video screen capture. Very cool. ScreenFlow's way uses key frames (actions) without timeline slicing.

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 лет назад +1

      Filmora fans have been beating up the company to add two things: Key Frames and Motion Capture. They just started rolling out key frames into the audio portion of Filmora 9. It's in some of the text overlay of Filmora PRO but alas, we're all still waiting for the full applications.
      I will say, it took my all of 3 minutes to apply every one of those movements.
      Key-framing tends to be slower, at least when I do it in the other Key Frame based editing software I use. (I'm also pretty old... it could be just old guy disease)

    Oh man that is
    exactly what i need for my competition video. But it looks and sounds a little tricky.
    Is there no other way to tell the zoom feature how long the zooming should last till the end point, stay there and later by doing another zooming go back to the whole picture again?
    I have tried to zoom in, by cutting the video in two. And cutting the first section to the duration, that works good for me. But than I realized, the zoomed picture will not stand, so I made a screenshot...But when I have done so, I just realized, oh no how can I zoom out again...???
    I think I have to do it just the way, you teached us here.

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 лет назад +1

      Could be a few things. If the track is locked you can't do anything with it. Make sure your track is unlocked when editing. Sometimes I accidentally hit the lock button on the track.
      Sometimes if the clip is short it can be hard to drop the transitions in the right spot and it will look like it's not letting you do it. In that case, stretch the timeline out a bit for better access.

      @@Daniel_Batal I can see some LUTS that come with it. But I got no idea how you get others and then add them to your list in filmora so that would be great.

    How to Smooth Skin and remove blemishes & scars in filmora please help me i need to use it i am for 7 years filmora custmer

      @Daniel_Batal  5 лет назад +1

      Very hard to do. Filmora doesn't have any motion tracking elements. The best you can do is make sure your lighting makes you look good. Really set up your shots with the proper lighting and the use the color correction features to balance your video to make yourself look the best you can.

      Hey there! Just making sure I understand your question. When you say "sign in to their script thing", rephrase that so I can understand a little bit better and give you a good answer.

      The questionnaire? Gotcha. We only use that to organize questions while we’re live streaming because so many questions go by too quickly in the chat and they’re easy to miss

      So this feature is exactly the same as the earlier versions, it's just that most people don't know that they can apply it this way.
      I know this seems harder but I used to do this all the time with Filmora 8 as well. I just figured I'd show people another way to use the features

      The whole trick is always having the end point of your pan & zoom already locked into your next piece of footage so that it can become the starting point of your next move. Keep that in mind and play around, I bet it will start to make sense.

    Interesting... no keyframes. More intuitive for those who've not gone through the Premiere/FinalCut learning curve.

    • @Daniel_Batal

      That's sort of their whole motto. Affordable, decent functionality and an easy learning curve/UI.
      People still complain that it either doesn't do enough or it's too hard. Tough to be all things for all people, I guess
