This is such a happy little painting! What a dreamy unique composition! It's always a great morning when I have time to relax with my cup of coffee and start the morning off slowly, while relaxing with one of your tutorials. Thank you Diane and Tamsin.
Diane you are my mentor! I just love how you are so patient with your work. I've been watching your videos for quite some time and with every video I always learn something new! Anything you paint, to me anyways, never looks like it would be a photograph. I love that! When I first started watercolor painting, I never took a class, and, from watching your videos, you've taught me one of the most important things - nothing ever has to be perfect. Thank you so much for sharing not only your final paintings but the direction that is needed to complete them!
Thanks so much Susie! So glad you are finding my videos helpful! I hope you believe, as I do, that the point of painting is the process not the product. We all need healing these days and color and water can bring such relief!
Ohh i love this so much. I went and checked on my beehives this morning. But it was -16F and so cold. We can’t wait for spring. I’ll have to paint this and dream of warm weather.
So fun to watch your impressionist style. Love the bees. I’m working on contrast and I especially like the way you placed the dark green with the faded yellow behind the beehive. It seems so obvious when you do it. I learned some thing every time I watch one of your tutorials. Thank you for posting.🙏🙏💙🌵
Thank you for tip about the hot water and paint tube. I also have that issue from time to time and didn't even think of this. This video was really timely - we still have over 3 feet of snow in our dooryard so it is nice to see some lovely bright flowers. Thank you
Love this painting Diane. Love dafodils as it's a sign Spring. I've got a vase full of daffs today to celebrate St David's Day. Happy St David's Day from Wales. X 🏴🏴🏴
@@damecupcake I'm so sad that I didn't discover him and Fletcher and the animals at the beginning of the lockdown. It would have made everything so much easier. But we are watching two a day at the moment to catch up with all from 2021. I'm just hoping and praying that Canterbury Cathedral doesn't take down his things when he leaves.

Lovely composition, Diane. I've said it before and I'll say it again....I could watch you paint bees all day long!
These are so pretty, Diane. On this cold day they are a very welcome sight.

So springy. I'm jealous we still have 5 feet of snow. Keep bringing the cheerful pictures.
This is an absolute delight! Can't wait to have a try at this one!
Thank you so much!

Thank you!! 😊
beautiful as always.
Thanks for all the mixing instructions and explanation of different yellows…another terrific video!
Love your channel.
I so enjoyed doing this painting. I do need to work on brush control. Think I'll try those bluebirds and then go to the birds of April.
So glad you’re happy with the painting Terri! Hope you enjoy the April birds!
That was really nice that you walk us through how you choose your palette.
Thank you for another inspiring video Diane.
No daffodils in sight here either! Just snow.
This is like a breath of spring! Thanks Diane and Tamsin

Thanks Joan!
PS I enjoy the Dean at Canterbury as well. Shall miss him when he retires in August!
I thought it was May he was leaving. Would be great if it’s August ☺️
@@DianeAntoneStudio oh toys review correct! Retirement May 16 on the eve of his 75th birthday.
