    I am currently trying to decide between these two for my Black Friday purchase. I wasn’t sure about the bowl size and I didn’t know that the cuisenart had a higher tilt and more horsepower. You helped me make my choice

    Hello, this is very interesting and helpful. Thank you. Regarding the gap between the bottom of the bowl and the tools, did you know that there is a way to adjust the height for better clearance? If you tilt back the head of the mixer, you should see a screw at the top of the stand. If that is turned one way or the other, it can adjust the height. There is a video online showing how to do this. KitchenAid has the same feature for their tilt-head mixers.

    To adjust the tilt head height, so that the attachments will reach all ingredients at the bottom of the mixing bowl, there is a screw under the head. Look for a video on youtube on how to adjust!

  • @ginabisaillon2894
    @ginabisaillon2894 2 года назад +4

    To lower the accessories and avoid the gap at the bottom, there is a screw that you have to adjust. There are lots of tutorials online about how to do this, but basically you lift the head and you see a big screw and in order to lower the accessory you have to turn it to the right. However the screw is very very very tight and a small woman like me cannot do it! So get your weightlifting friend to help!

    • @cristakennedy8499
      @cristakennedy8499 2 года назад +1

      That screw is extremely tight, and factory tightened. I got my son to try to adjust mine. It is hard to get a screwdriver in there and turn it so he tried using a dime. The dime was exactly the right width. The dime ended up twisted and a doubt the screw moved at all.

    Thank you so much for this review. It really is helpful and just what I was looking for! Just a little comment - I couldn't find a way to send you a message privately, but if you continue to review mixers, which I hope you do, we pronounce the word bowl like "oh" or "soul" plus an L at the end. Otherwise it sounds like another word entirely. :) (As usual, English is completely illogical in its pronunciation!!) This isn't meant as a criticism at all by the way - I just hope it is helpful. :) Thanks again for a great review.

      I think that learning a whole other language is amazing, and to me you sounds absolutely perfect. My son speaks french but doesn't like speaking it, because he feels his pronounciation isn't the best, so he lost confidence.
