Gee, could you be just a little more uncaring??? The topography in western NC, GA, TN is vastly different from Louisiana. Louisiana has never experienced the shear volume of water coming down through the mountains. TN DOT estimated 103,000 cubic gallons of water per second vs 70,000 from Niagara falls. There are no vast areas of marsh land to collect and drain water like in Louisiana. They do not have flood insurance because these were not mapped as flood zones so each and everyone will be fighting with insurance. Like migrants many will have to move and start completely over. It is so unfortunate you don't care. I lived through this same event in 1999 in ENC. My situation was minor compared to this. 4 mths waiting on a list to get insurance guy to the house. Fighting insurance for months because of wind damage. Having to prove straight line winds came through the neighborhood. I hope it never happens to you. But maybe it has and that why u r so jaded

@@lindapereboom hey 👋 yeah I've been through 7 hurricanes that's 7 with little to no help I washed off at the boat ramp and filled up 5 or 6 5 gallon buckets to bring water back to flush the toilet 2 weeks no power ect ect ect it's not a charity event it's life suck it up and press on to many snowflakes out there if it was to ever really get bad bad bad lots of people will not make it there not built for it to many luxurious things and no brains
