My uncle has a 2009 BMW 328i sedan that is in pristine shape though, so idk. Glad that y'all are okay! Also it sounded like something broke in that Lincoln's engine right after you started it up.

The BMW most likely has a simple vacuum leak if it runs so well. The ABS and Brake light is more often than not just a ABS sensor which has shitted itself

i would take that bmw, i miss my E46. it obviously needs actual keys tho. but it prob needs entire front end kit, a general module, power locks fixed, something on the cooling system and most likley a oil pan gasket, and the whole intake manifold resealed including injectors all on top of what you already said.
the PCV is not integrated on this motor, its a CCV under the intake.
That BMW 6 engine was/is the best BMW engine out there. That mileage is nothing for that engine.

Yeah the Lincoln needs a whole new engine, but those things hold their value super well, so it might still be worth fixing if you throw in a junkyard driver's seat and a new paint job.
They took good care of that bmw which is surprising cause most people beat on bmws

Seat in the Lincoln looked like a product of too much taco bowel ( I mean bell )
bmw e46 2.5 liter engine. m54b25 harman kardon audio as extra! cd player heatet seats LOVE IT!!! want it! white is very rare in the eu! as coupe. buy it its nice as engine. warning! the key is a valet key.. does only fit the front doors and starts the car. glovebox and trunk cant not be opend... iff you buy it? replace DIRECT the water pump and thermostat.. always very broke.. also look at the radiator. iff the untherside is sagging? replace asap. coolant tank look for cracks. i can tel a LOT more but wont type all that now..
ow i realize me the engine is mabe not a m54 could but a m52TU engine displacement. minor diferences, but they have a litte bit older electrics and nog gaspedal by wire. also no bad engines.
Same old BMW crap. There are other vehicles in the world.
Have a 04 330i, the ABS light with the triangle is probally a wheel speed sensor, and now they make Aluminum valve covers to fix the plastic covers cracking, warping, and leaking.
2:27 i haven't heard miles but i will say around 183k miles.

The oil light ist not bc the car is cold. Its because the oil level sensor has a defect

The yellow oil light means the sensor under the oil pan is bad. Had a 2004 bmw 325ci same issue
When a car comes with its own tool kit that's a sign you're going to be working on that thing

BMW engines can go as low as 2.0 Liters and still be a 6 cylinder and in Europe they have 4 cylinder engines that go from 2.0 liter diesels to 1.9. 1.8. 1.6. liter gas engines v6 is smoother tho no doubt about it. love the content btw keep it up :D
No, straight six is smoother than v6. V6 never are smooth because they are always imbalance because its V shape and number of cylinders, and need always balance shaft.
@@LaitinenVeeti well I just meant it is smoother than BMW's 4 cylinder engines i myself have 3 BMW 316i's with 1.8 liter engines and it will feel like u are sitting in cammed truck except it's just not smooth but yes u are correct straight six's are very smooth and much better than some grotty old v6 LOL cheers!

I acually WON a "PURE SALE" auction and almost a full hour after my bid was the high one (I was the only bidder) the seller decided the auction WASN'T a pure sale, and immediately relisted the car with a reserve.
I'm in the process of trying to recover my $100 membership fee.
Randy on that bmw there's a dial in the center between the vents if you don't turn that dial to cold it will never blow cold air even if the a/c is turned on

I used to have a 2002 325Ci convertible I got it with 131,000 Miles and got rid of it with 167000 miles the only thing I did with the car plug wires and I added a black widow neighbor hater exhaust and did a resonator delete and the car was the topaz blue metallic was a good car

Well I had owned a 2003 with 147,000 mi on it and it ran me about $2,500 to fix everything that was wrong with it over 3 it's typical but if you do not pick it up for two or three hundred dollars I would not touch it

these are one of the best bmw's ever made ive had 2 of these and gotten well over 250,000 miles out of them and was.still running strong as ever when i sold them. valve cover gaskets isnt thay bad to change really. got mine for 150$ with gasket

Hello Randy. The 2002 BMW 235 CI is a good car. The 2001 Mercedes 230 SLK is a good car. The 2007 Lincoln Navigator is a good SUV.
Mercedes like that one you just drop the top permanently, clean it up and glue all those broken plastic pieces shut. Strictly a sunny day special.
That Lincoln sounded like it just regurgitated its lifters. Ouch!
With the Lincoln, there was no oil pressure when it was running or cranking over, so it probably threw a rod bearing due to being run low on oil.
Check the flashlights if they work on those BMWs. I rarely see any that work

I had the 330ci convertible with 11 codes redid the whole bay plus drveaxle supports, powersteering just about everything was new and someone totaled it.

The stoped making them in 2006 but god they are built so well. Just need tic and attention, like the ladies 🤗🇺🇸🏴
It’s always curious how the Expedition over all was a fairly reliable vehicle, yet it’s counterpart, the much higher priced Navigator was a turd. The exact same can be said about the Tahoe and Escalade. Or the Escape and Range Rover, etc.

Mike needs the SLK more for parts to fix his other one. That looks like it has a lot of what he needs. It is worth a few hundred. The triangle light in the BMW means Traction Control is off or messed up.
