Your going to love it, I have 330ci for a daily and m3 for tracks, great chassis
🧢
Your E46 is nice man! I’m planning on scooping a pre-facelift coupe like yours as a project. They are widely available so easy to find. Was going to be an E36 first, but theses prices are getting ridiculous on them and drift tax lol. I don’t have time for that. Great vid
Devon Young - thanks. I really love this car. By far one of my most favorite to drive. I can toss this thing into corners with no problem. Parts aren’t too terribly expensive either.
I got a 325ci convertible manual same color shits dope bro I love it
you got it with the m3 seats nice , previous owner mustve really cared about the car
One of the previous owners spent quite a bit of time and money on it before I got it. I definitely lucked out with this one.
@@mrnobodysgarage yeah got lucky i wana get different seats for my 330 , wish i can afford the m seats they look so nice and comfy
@@UC559 join one of the FB bmw groups. So many guys are turning these cars into track cars, I’m sure you could pick some up for a fair price.

Greg needs to make a channel dedicated to e46
Some douche hit and totaled my 370z so now I’m thinking about getting one of these with the settlement check. Great vid!
Sucks about the Z but if you find a good 3 series, you’ll have a ton of fun!
@@mrnobodysgarage I found a guy selling a 2001 bmw 325ci for $2500 with 156k miles. It looks really clean. You think it is worth it?
@@HAWKxSAMA sounds like a decent deal
RIP 370😤🧎🙏🏼
@@mrnobodysgarage I recently found a 2005 bmw 325 w/ 40k & for $7800. Is that a good buy?
Only one owner. No accidents.
In 2014 I had a 2001 325 msport saloon, paid £2500 for it and spent £6000 on maintenance and mods in less than 2 years. It was a special car but very expensive to maintain. Had a 2004 330 se saloon before that, paid £5000 and spent nearly £3000 on maintenance on that car. Then some bell end rear ended me and the car was written off.👊😡
Picked my 330cd 2006 reg up in April. History stamps each & every year at coopers.
full leather, heaps of receipts, 99k on clock 3 previous owners brand new Potenzas, 6 gear manual.
Paid 5k- only think I notice with the car is sticky callipers are common
diesel? you in the uk?
@@gregh7457 yes Diesel. Thousands of 46s here.
Another problem I’ve found after having the car 10 months is centre bearing of some kind of driveshaft issue. I’ve mapped it to 264bhp but power feels laggy after 2-3 weeks. Getting it checked on March 1st
@@mister.c4631 i'de love to have a m57 powered e46. nobody here in the states seems interested in doing diesel swaps. Heck, i'de settle for a m47. My 335d was laggy when the vacuum line to the boost selenoid was leaking
@@gregh7457 most the time in the states we don’t care for diesel cars. We definitely do a lot more Cummins and 7.3 ps swaps in the states and it seems that the past five years Cummins swapped mustangs and rangers are becoming much more popular even in thinking about putting a 12v in a mustang
Nice ride
Damn that milage needle thing is so accurate😂
Being a truck guy forced to a car went with the sedan version of yours well it’s also a shit automatic but the slap shift is really nice. Does handle very well on sharp corners and fast driving and better then most mustangs and Cameros Iv been behind. Like the cars just don’t care for there interiors don’t get me wrong it looks really good but everything feels like it was made by dodge other then that they seem decent so far
I agree. Definitely areas for improvement in the interior.
@@mrnobodysgarage it’s something that seems to plague most German cars. Bmw and VW seem to take the hit harder then a audi
Sharp car bro
i have a stock bmw 325ci red and i live in mckinney texas crazy that i came across this
I have a silver one all stock
the seat belts and the mpgs bothered me too😂
the mpg gauge shows the current mpg and obviously when you accelerate it’s going to have worse gas mileage. It shows the mpg you’re getting in the gear you’re in and the rpms you’re sitting at
I just saw you replied to somebody’s comment 20 minutes ago so I’ll shoot my shot. I’m looking at a 2006 325ci with 100k miles for 7k at the dealership right now, the price seems a little steep to me but I’m willing to deal with it because I need something reliable for my new job and my e36 is starting to make me nervous. What’s your opinion on it? It’s a vert and comes with a hardtop so I know I can get a grand or two for that on eBay easy.
BigSpoon88 - Dealer cars will always be marked up from what you could buy private party.
Seems to be low mileage which is great. Hopefully it has some service records? Maybe you could work a warranty into the deal?
I would sell the hard top off, def keep it with the car.
Best of luck!
Looking into buying an '02 for 2k at 175k mileage
Beautiful then Ferrari for me not for others my 2 door car will be inshallah bmw 325 ci 2005 white color automatic gray interior
Just bought a 2001 325ci convertible-absolutely great condition.
But please forgive my ignorance about these cars but what's the difference between the standard 325i and the 325ci?
They have different owner's manuals-mine did not have one so went looking on Ebay. And with the ci's there are different manuals for the coupes and the convertibles.
Like your center console. The standard has a weird shaped armrest, 2 cup holders with one under the armrest--with cars like this I do not allow food or
drink in them at all!!! Eating & drinking is for home or restaurants. I would leave it alone! You should at least look at a standard before deciding on changing back. And yours looks very unique.
Fold down rear seats and steering wheel I believe. Not much.
The only problem is airbags had a recall
I Got a steal on 2002 bmw 325ci
1500
Needed a battery
Lowered racing suspension tuned, chambered. Chrome molly header.
Tops out at 162
That’s awesome!
I just got a letter as well about the airbags but they will come to you to fix them.
Yeah it’s crazy
The airbag on the steering wheel was tookin out. I met the original owner of the car. He bought an exact replica. He wrecked it .
There is one wire to the dash, it controls abs speedometer and a few others things be careful when messing eletrical
I just had the recall done on my car.
hey what exhaust system / mods does this have? Sounds lovely, a tone I want in my car
Man it’s been 4 years… I don’t even remember now…
I may have mentioned it in one of the other videos
just got a 2002 325ci 120k miles one owner for 5k .
Does a 2001 325ci with 150k on the transmission and engine for 4k sound good? Gutted and comes with sets of tires, has racing seat and racing wheel, no other issues just radiator fix
Seems like low mileage. Hopefully the body panels are straight and in good shape
Did you end up getting it? How it treating you?
found the black version of this car for 2.5k. 89k miles, both window regulators dont work but the rest of the car fine. is that a good price?
Seems like a good starting point for negotiations 😉
Do you think I got mine for a steal? Its a 2006, 136k miles, shifts nicely, it’s pretty much stock other than it has a muffler delete. And i got it for $4k
James Charles Fan - pretty low mileage, I think it’s a good deal
im looking at one with 129k at 5k.
Blessed Veteran87 so far I love mine. I just have a oil leak from the value cover but it isn’t something crazy hard to fix
I'm looking at one for $6200 with 133k. Hardtop included with the convertible.
What do you think of 2004 325ci coupe w/ 35k miles on it, selling for $10k. Mint condition in and out? Is it worth the money?100% stock. Ty
Wow- low miles. Sounds like a cream puff
I had one of those back in 2001. I drove fantastic, but the electrical system was AWFUL
did the clunking turn out to be a rear subframe cracking?
Nope- top bolt was a bit loose.
would you consider it a good first car to buy as a teen like myself?
TERROR KASH - IMO, yes. This will actually be my daughter’s first car next year.
Im about to get the 325ci 2004 2 door convertible. I wonder where I can find the rooftop clips (the only way to do convertible is manual rn)
I wouldn't recommend it, this is/was my first car I take very good care of this car I was obsessed and it STILL has put me through hell and back. The older it gets (the more it gets driven) more and more things start breaking or messing up. Not good for a day to day car. Goodluck though.
r1oot I did both 😁
if you have a stable income and can deal with unexpected repairs, especially when you're able to do your own repairs, go for it, otherwise, don't.
325ci is def not a fast car but is very fun in the corners. hope ya enjoy the car as much as I have!
One of my favorite cars to drive!
Take out the insulation like the clubsport that was available in the UK (about 50lbs removed), remove the M3 seats and fit standard sport seats (another 50lbs) and use high octane fuel with a remap. The 325 has an oversquare engine so it likes to rev. It will be quicker than a mk v golf gti. On my old 325, it dyno'd on average at 202hp and 195lb ft torque, weighing in at 3100lbs with driver and half tank.
BMW 2005 325ci convertible with no problems cause the last owner took really good care of it and with 134k miles for $4.5k, Worth it or nah?
If it’s clean and well cared for. Tops can get expensive down the road though…
Getting a 2003 bmw ci for 1800$ 264,000 km. Worth it bois?
Heyyy ms parker😄
Did u ever find out what was the clucking noise in the back? Is it the rear passenger?
Nineblocc Ray - it was the top bolt for the rear end. It was just loose. Tightened it up, good to go!
Mr Nobodys Garage which top bolt ?
Nineblocc Ray - there’s one on the middle/top of the differential.
Hey man this been bothering me, I bought a 2006 at 88k miles for 5,500. Did I overpay?
It’s the newer body style, low miles, - if it’s a clean car then I’d say your probably right in the ballpark of what they’d be going for. If you plan on keeping it and enjoying it- then I don’t really think you did too bad.
I’m looking at one right now with 160k miles
Owner spent $1000 on the motor recently and is selling total for $1300
I may buy for $1000 we’ll see what happens 😂
got a 2004 325ci with 25k miles today for 10k, was it a steal? Please please let me know
Only 25k mi… that’s awesome! Good find.
How I can find/do to put a double din radio?
You need to relocate the heater controls down one slot to where the glasses holder is you can use the existing console piece or change the part for a perfect fit. You can then get bespoke head units for the E46 as double din to fit where the radio and heater controls lived
Hello, I need help I want to buy a 2004 series 3 330cic convertible with 105,922k miles for 5,700 do you think it’s worth it or no? It was well maintained but we got an emissions test and it did have a vacuum leak but he got it fixed but I don’t know if should buy it or not overall it looks like we’ll maintained and on Kelly blue book it said a fair price would be $7,650 what do you think please let me know!!
You can always run a Car Fax to make sure it doesn’t have a bad history like an accident or something. Sounds like a fun car, just take your time and ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable. You can even get an inspection from a dealership if that would help.
@@mrnobodysgarage it has a clean title but I will definitely do that!! It is a nice fun car fosure thank you for letting me know I can get an inspection from the dealership I didn’t know that at all so that definitely helps I will do that. Everything is perfect it just the vacuum leak that scared me because I don’t want it to cause other problems he already fixed it but I’m just trying to be cautious because I know with the BMW I do have to fix things but I don’t want it to be right away when I buy it and be due to the vacuum leak but many videos say if you fix it right away it’s nothing but some say it’s something I can’t tell.
