    I have the P and the DUO versions of the C and C2. I’ve carried all three and they all serve their purpose. I will carry the P mainly when I’m also wearing a coat or jacket because of its larger size. It is the best shooting of the three for me. The C will he carried when I really need deeper concealment, but the C2 will get the most holster time. It’s only slightly bigger than a Glock 19 in the grip so it’s not overtly difficult to conceal. All three are great to shoot, accurate, and have been 100% reliable.

    I just picked up my Staccato C DUO...put 125 rounds through it so far and it is the best gun I have ever shot. Definitely like the slimmer profile, shorter grip, and rounded butt.

    I purchased my first Staccato, the XL DUO, and was so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. I’ve now added the C2 DUO and just recently, the XC DUO. OMG….. if you ever have the opportunity to shoot a Staccato, you will understand. I now have no use for the other guns in my collection! Great review! 😀👍

    After doing research, and reading up on forums. I came across your video, I liked your straight to the point approach to the whole lineup. Helped with my purchase of the Staccato P, which I picked up yesterday. Can’t wait to take it out and shoot it. I like the C duo you had in your video as well. Thanks for the awesome review, well done.

    Like Frank said, I’m into concealment, so the Staccato C would be my choice. (Oh, wait. I already have one.) I would like the C2 if only STI would round the heel of the grip so it would conceal better.
    A nice quick look at the Staccato lineup. Thanks for sharing.

    Beautiful for 4 STI Staccato line up. After looking at this video, I wondered if there was a Staccato-c2-duo, yes there is one for 2500. That is 600 more than the Bul Armory SAS2 Viper and the Viper has the Shield RMSc included within the 1900 price. Not to step on your channel but I did a video of this Viper. My single videos are not great like your videos. I'm a quadriplegic with pretty good hands. So lighter triggers mean alot to me. I'm from a CZ and CZ clone ecosystem because of their triggers. This staccato-c2-duo is now on the list.

    I have the C DPO as my EDC "I didn't see bad things coming" gun. I have the C2 Limited threaded as my, "I saw the potential for bad things but couldn't carry a rifle" gun. Same manual of arms, both with a RMRcc. Makes sense for how concealeble it has to be. IWB is the C model every day. OWB, might as well go with the C2. I'm happy to have options.

    Picked up the P Duo at the end of last year. I got lucky, it came with the new grip shown here but it came with the full length dust cover which I think is much better. It also came with the mag well which now with these new pistols, the only one that comes with the mag well is the comped one. This purchase was over a year in deciding between the Duo and the EDC X9. So glad I was able to get the one I got and no regrets not getting the EDC X9. Thanks.

      @MDpolo  4 года назад +1

      +WeeeThPpl Congrats on the P Duo. In my hands, the P is the best shooting of the bunch followed by the C2. The EDC X9 is a fantastic pistol as well. Can’t go wrong either way. Thank you for watching.

    • @rickc9111

      You have the older full dust cover version with 4.15” barrel. A few of those have the new grip that were manufactured near the end of the previous gen cycle. The 2020 is 4.4” barrel. I agree that the full dust cover looks nicer to the eye. Supposedly the 4.4” feels a tad softer to shoot. Both are great!

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  4 года назад +2

      There is a difference in the grip size between the two models one being a single stack and the other being a double stack. Having said that, I have medium size hands and I found the C2 very comfortable. If I had to pick one, it would be the C2. Thank you very much for your kind words and for watching.

    My question is, is the Staccato better than the original browning hi power?, you can find new Brownings in box for half of the money, modern quality 15 rounds magazines, tons of aftermarket and custom parts support and an unique military and law enforcement background around the world, backed up for almost a century also FN recently released a reborn of the BHP with modern tweaks and still half of the price.

    I'm considering the C2 duo as I think it's the closest size to a Glock 19 or 45. I like the size of the G19 & G45 but don't like the way it feels in my hand, it feels kinda cheap and I'm not a fan of the way it arrives out of the box. It seems to need better sights in order to be better accurate. The C2 needs nothing, the quality and accuracy are stellar right out of the box. The Glock has a face only a mother could love and the Staccato is a masterpiece. Obviously the C2 costs 4 times more than a G19/45 but it's the only gun you'll ever need.

    C2 DUO carry w/ Sentinel-a microdot and TLR-7A would the best all-around carry pistol I can think of. Big enough to give 16+1 capacity and good performance, small enough to carry especially when you have regular-sized iron and microdot. Light enough it is only ~4oz heavier than the G19 empty.
    C kinda miss the point of '2011' and fall behind on capacity being a single stack in this size/weight league. Might as well roll with the P365XL w/ a dot.
    P is just a bit bigger(flat base mag only 17rds) and heavier(+ ~13oz than G19) but doesn't bring that much advantage. Then you will want to put a full-size light like X300 on there... could be a good option for LEOs tho.

      @@MDpolo when comparing the c and c duo, do you think the slim grip makes it much easier to conceal, or is it more of a comfort thing. I can't imagine the slight increase in size is much more difficult to conceal especially if appendix carry.

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  4 года назад

      There is no doubt that the grip is slimmer and easier to conceal. Going into winter, I would pick the C2.

    • @Michael-uf1hz
      @Michael-uf1hz 4 года назад

      @@MDpolo yeah under a jacket I would definitely go with the c2, however I'm looking for a year round carry, so I'm kind of leaning towards the c, it's just the limited capacity that turns me off when I could get say a sig p365xl for much less cost and it holds more rounds. Staccato would be better shooting but is it worth the extra money. Do you think the c would be a good year round carry?

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  4 года назад +1

      I own both of them and for me, in my hands, there is no comparison. The staccato all the way. However, the P3 65 XL is a very nice pistol to carry every day for much less money. It really depends on your budget and what feels best in your hand.

    Above all, watching your videos, I have understood that you are surely an expert; but, I feel a little sorry that you did not even review a Beretta whatsoever (or a Tanfoglio): this makes me think you do not like this brand, probably. Anyway, thanking this video, I have discovered this producer unknown before to me. "Staccato" is an Italian word, beside, a time it was also an Italian surname in southern Italy. Please, do you have any information about this fact? Many thanks from Italy.

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  4 года назад

      Yes, Staccato is an Italian word and a music term. However, I am not aware of an Italian surname although I would not be surprised if it was. Regarding Beretta, I love them. A Beretta 92 was actually the first pistol that I got and still have it. Currently I am working on videos of 2 Berettas. Just don't have enough time to review everything that I like :-) Thank you for watching and Ciao!

    I'm watching, trying to convince myself to take the Staccato plunge. If I were to do it, it would be for the C2. On and off duty, I carry a concealed handgun; and I'm not yet a pistol red dot convert. Honestly, for a fighting gun, I don't think I could benefit much from the attributes of the Staccato line. My carry rotation includes a Shadow Systems Gen 3 Glock 19, a CZ Custom Shop SDP, a Sig Sauer P365, and my venerable, Les Baer .45 Stinger. For me, those guns are great; and I can't justify mothballing any one of them for the C2, or any other high dollar, duty oriented pistol. I went through this same mental exercise when the Wilson Combat EDC X9 came out. It was great looking and excellent (except for Wilson's fragile, Armor-Tuff finish); but it wasn't any better looking, or that much better as fighting gun, than my H&K P30, with the light LEM trigger. Still, it's fun to learn and to fantasize about these Ferrari guns. Thank you.

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  4 года назад +1

      Well said and you make good points. My suggestion is that if you are curious about a C2, find a range that has one for rent and shoot it. You may find that it will change your mind about mothballing one of the other ones. Although the C2 would face stiff competition against the lineup that you mentioned. As you well know, the bottom line is that you should carry whichever you should best and will carry often if not always. Thank you very much for watching! I appreciate your time.

      For decades people carried 1911‘s with 7+1 or 8+1 capacity. For years people were thrilled with a Glock 43and they only had 6+1 capacity. You need to find the gun that is comfortable for you, that you will carry and the one you shoot the best. If it’s 7+1, in my opinion that’s plenty. But that’s your decision. Thank you for watching.
