I wanted to get this event for many years on this game and yesterday i was finally able to do the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection thanks to an alternative way which was about the Network Hotspot but since i had the restart all over again i need to progress a lot to be able to unlock the secret gifts in the menu screen and hopefully once i get to that point i will still be able to get all the special events available in this version, i will let you know if i get them and hopefully i will.
Good to hear! I just completed revisiting all the platinum and Heartgold and Soulsilver events on my channel. I also got access to them all from a DNS method which I have a video up on my channel which should help you get them again if needed!
@@JaysHobbiesandRetroGames-vp7mr Somehow i'm not able to connect to do battles and trades on Pokémon Platinum which i have on my 3DS even if i have the WFC working, does this method work only for the Mystery Gifts or you were supposed to do other things with it?
@@JaysHobbiesandRetroGames-vp7mr Unfortunately it always says that the support of the Nintendo WFC is no longer available for my software which is the 3DS XL, how do i bypass that?
@@BlackAntoITA the DNS method to my knowledge works to access mystery gift or the gts in Pokémon games. I know my Black version didn’t work at all and I read on Reddit that some people had to restart their games for it to work. It worked perfect on Platinum, HGSS, White and White 2 but all those games I restarted within the past few years whereas my black version was my original play through back when it first released. Have you been trying the DNS method? Wifi won’t work otherwise on any DS or 3DS consoles as it’s no longer in service.
