Yes, to beautifying my home, dressing in what I love, being in nature, walking, music, creative expression, including dancing, drawing, writing, cooking, and baking. I'll try reading more. I also love yoga, meditating, bubble baths, naps, tea parties, and having fresh flowers around. ❤
One note on active music listening (pun intended!) - there are also a lot of studies on how certain beats and tonality in music can very directly affect your mood, both negatively and positively. So, choose wisely. Of course, what appeals to one person may not appeal to another and music choice is very personal; however, there are simply loads and loads of popular music songs that have very depressing and negative messaging about dysfunctional relationships, etc., to the point where it can really fill your head with negative thoughts and a one-sided viewpoint on life and relationships. Yes - listening to songs that have serious or even depressing messaging at times can be cathartic, especially if you relate to the lyrics, but I think it’s best to avoid taking that in all the time. Relate to it intentionally, and then move on… It is best to choose upbeat, inspiring music, and not to have it on all the time because it is important to have free airspace (some peace and quiet) so that you can have your own thoughts and feelings, and not just be taking in input from others continuously. Over the last few years, I have become annoyingly aware of how we hear the same pop songs over and over and over and over again, in every store, in every restaurant, in cars, at the gym - is that just in this country, I don’t know, but there is so much good music out there and it seems that we are bombarded with the same playlist absolutely everywhere we go! Does anyone else notice this?!
Thanks fo elaborating on music. Some music bring sad memories fo sure esp when u reminisce n start missing those ppl n cry Most music stations play almost similar music inc fitness centers too.

Your list of ideas reminded me of things I want to do, but had forgotten, such as creating a personalized space. I have done that in the past, but not lately. I'd never considered the value of using music as a form of mindfulness meditation (my interpretation), and I am interested in pursuing that.
Wonderful tips beautiful Nena, exactly life isn't going to happen for us we need to be active and make the effort to do what we love. I make that bubble like you do. The Gnome book looks fabulous.Much love❤!
Yes!! as the saying goes, use your good China every day. Have dinner on your nicest dinnerware on any old Tuesday, and use your most special mug every morning. I think it used to be common that people would save their “special” items for “special” times, and now we’re coming to realize that every day is special (even though, of course, not every day feels like a holiday! But every day is special)
All the best and the video has put a smile on my face ... A reminder to be present and not to be involved in much thinking about the past and the future ... Just lessons from the past and preview or forward vision for the future while being in a state of flow in the power of now , the eternity of present life ...
Some of your happiness practices feel more about joy, and most of them feel like a blend of happiness and joy. To me, happiness is more transitory and not as deeply felt. Joy feels more sustained and uplifting.
REALLY???!!!! You are the first person I’ve ever met thst knows this book! I was obsessed with it growing up. The pictures were so real it convinced me that gnomes really were out there in the wild lol 💛💛💛💛💛
Hey Nena ! Thank you so much for all those wonderful tips ! 💛 I do put some of them in pratice like going out in nature (luckily I have my dogs who motivate me), active music listening and of course creating whenever possible. I'm working on the space and clothing improvement but those are still in progress... Talking about planning things to look forward to, I just bought my ticket for my first The Warning concert next year in april, which is something I'm really looking forward to 😊 I can't wait to experience those girls energy in person 🥰🥰 Have a wonderful weekend 🍀✨🤗🤗
@@NenaLavonne Thank you 💛 Yes, it will definetely be! But on the other hand it will also be something that will give me lots of positive energy through that time. I'll make sure to put the ticket up on my wall, so it'll put a smile on my face everytime I see it. The only thing that troubles me a bit is that I didn't get a meet and greet ticket because they were already sold out. Getting one of those would have been an absolute dream 🥰🥰
What else would you add to this list? :)
Do things that ignite your passion and give compassion for living and thriving even ...
Have a reason and a motivating "why " behind your work coming from your heart and spirit calling ...A life -work balanced harmony ...
Connect with others but within certain healthy boundaries ...
Help as much as you can but it is okay to say no if not appropriate ...
Thanks, dear Nena. I'd add your videos & talks are helpful. Further , your positivity encouragement mean.a lot✨️ 💐 😊

Yes! There is a radio station where I live that seems to play the same 20 songs only lol. They are not even recent, and very random 😂
