hell yeah brother, bass player here
This was one of my favorite songs that the duet "Sandler and Young" used to perform years ago!! How wonderful to find this arrangement!
There will be
Many other nights
Like this
And I'll be
Standing here
With someone new
There will be
Other songs to sing
Another fall
Another spring
But there
Will never be
Another you
There will be
Other lips
That I may kiss
But they
Won't thrill me
Like yours used to do
Yes
I may dream
A million dreams
But how
Can they come true
If there
Will never ever
Be another you?
There will be
Many other
Nigths like this
And I'll be
Standing here
With someone new
There will be
Other songs to sing
Another fall
Another spring
But there
Will never be
Another you
There will be
Other lips
That I may kiss
But they
Won't thrill me
Like yours used to do
Yes
I may dream
A million dreams
But how
Can they come true
If there will never
Ever be another you?
I love all of the play alongs in this youtube page, I've been jamming with these for years now! Only thing I don't like is how they end, they never resolve! lol
I' ve just been digging it with a fantastic solo from Sonny Stitt and now I'll try to play myself. Thank You.
Just happened to play this by flipping to it in my real book after I was done with Misty. Thank you autoplay for choosing this song!
Great ! Very Good !

Good, very good!!! i like this bt standards.
Reported for "no tag ending"
lol yeah
Fade out is an ending.
cool..cubed...particularly 4 a singer marooned in suburbia....nice band Stan....
Great backing track !! authentic sounding and swinging as a bass player I'll probably eq out the bass although as with the original play alongs it was possible to isolate the drums and piano by switching the balance to the left or right ?

Wow.. thank you
Really good!!

💯
Great track, apart from the finis interruptus; oh, well. Still groovin' up to that point though...
Just listed to your analysis on Spotify(161) and the chords are different.
Nice
awesome, which version is this one?
nice if you told us the chords or the key we're in
Fun tune to play, but there's no bridge - it can get monotonous after listening to say, three horn players playing chorus after chorus.
It would be nice if there was a way to download these so I could have the track ready at any time

I clicked on view the charts link, but didn't see the charts. Do you have to pay before seeing the charts?
Hey there Rachel! You should see them on the right side of the screen if you are on desktop.
Learn Jazz Standards when you say desktop, do you mean that first screen I see with all the icons on it when I first start my computer? Or is desktop a software program? I'm sorry, I don't understand.
Hey Rachel, you'll see icons that say "C, Bb, Eb." Click on those to view the charts. Hope that helps.
The new covid title : there will never be another gig :0)
😂
Do these backing tracks exist with the bass removed?
You could probably use an EQ to cut out the majority of the bass sound
Hi Walter! Indeed we do have them for purchase on our website: www.learnjazzstandards.com/jazz-standards/there-will-never-be-another-you/
I’m getting spoiled here.
nice:)

Sheet??
Where's the ending? Really sloppy fade out! A nice clipped stop would have made this not just an awesome backing track but a Mark's and Spencer backing track!
you don't know jack.
My Kar you are right! I don't know Jack. Is he the guy that made this backing track? If so, would you mind asking him to consider revising the ending please. It just sort of falls apart and doesn't actually resolve and not in an artistic way either. Thanks for pointing that out and thanks in advance for contacting "Jack" because I don't know him! ;-)
Shut up and play.
What key is this in?
+Elijah Travis C Minor*
9b’
what is the key?
E flat

Lousy ending!
Yeah, but the old track is better !!!
No this guy never replies to email. Bad investment
Hey! Hope you enjoy your practicing session. Feel free to post a video of you jamming along below! We made this backing track with a cool practice tool called Band-in-a-Box. If you want to check out all the things you can do with it click here: www.learnjazzstandards.com/band-in-a-box/
This is awesome! So much fun to play along with! If you get a chance, check out my arrangement on RUclips: There Will Never Be Another You - Vocals, Kohl Kitzmiller; Arrangement, Ron James
The bass sound SUCKS! This is the only bass sound Band In A Box has for some reason. It's woody and chunky and harsh, dissonant, intrusive and very annoying. I find it impossible to play against. I just don't understand why Band In A Box won't put out a really classic jazz bass backing track instead. If you have ever listened to a lot of really great jazz bass players you'll know what I am talking about. None of them sound like Band In A Box!
I hate these Band-in-a-Box playalongs. The harsh, dissonant, annoying sound of the bass totally SUCKS. Band--in-a-Box has only one bass player for their jazz playalongs, and his sound is all you will ever hear. Jazz bass should have a classic full, deep, bottom end as far as I am concerned, like Paul Chambers, Ray Brown, etc. This is totally the opposite!!
Hi Joe, the good news is, you don't have to use them. They aren't a substitute for playing with real musicians anyway. Not sure why you want to waste your time on negativity, my friend. I know you have better things to do.
