We know from leaks that Otto will recap season 2 at the start of the episode and episode 1 should cover volume 16 in one shot due to the 90 minute starter episode. So effectively the first episode: Is gonna end on the first death of the season.

@@xeqqail3546arc 5 and 6 are both similar in length, arc 5 shouldn't take more than 15 eps (could be shorter due to 90 min 1st ep). And I feel like arc 6 shouldn't take more than 18 eps So all in all it should be done in 32-33 eps
There is no way in god green Earth they can pressed it into 12 episodes, they would need to trim it like a brisket if they wanted to do that. Definitely 24 or higher, probably higher because arc 6 will single handedly fund season 4.

Nah I think it's quiet feasible Arc 5 has 5 volumes, 1st episode will cover 1st volume, rest of the volmes can take 3 episode each and will be done in 13 eps. Arc 5 is action heavy and has regulus rants which can be easily shortened in anime format
