Kuruhs if you're scared you're gonna hurt your ears or your speakers try turning loudness equalizer. It basically balances noises so quieter ones are a bit louder and louder ones aren't going to destroy your ears

I like Undercover's map and color pallet a lot even though it's not good. It's like a calm 2pm afternoon vibe.
The PC version has way better damage models than the other versions,EA was really milking NFS,rushing every game to be a cash grabber

The teams were split back in 2007 so one can focus on prostreet and the other on undercover, skate and nba street.

prostreet more casual lol like a first version mobile minecraft 256x256 world, with ''one'' long route with 300km/h permanent speed (and without skills) and cops + stupid scripts awful (track and drag its a nighmare), undercover much harder than all previous nfs and prostreet too(MW2005 can complete on sonny's golf lol). most of good nfs parts - street ilegal racing. Undercover just raw but well conceived, yes, like a MW, or U1,2... good idea - good game, most of the new games are popular precisely because they have a good simple idea, even taking into account the fact that they are badly or very bad implemented like a PUBG (still raw game), or CoD:MW (Battleroyale, just war like a pubg 10km map good idea), Among us, Phasmophobia, Dead by Daylight, Payday2 or ''bestpartofthenfs'' NFS:MW2005 with cartoon graphic (yeah, beautiful game about cars with ''anime carton pixel bits cars'', with awful physics *car-street* like a soap on the asphalt with armored pixel trees, but have blacklist and still interesting with good atmosphere).
I was so dissapointed by Prostreet on PS2 cause it didnt have the wind tunnel thing that was marketed... And also I bought my first custom desktop PC as a 12 year old for undercover due to my old computer not being able to run it, and man was I dissapointed and pissed off lmfao.
Undercover is like a CHEESE Bad C Movie from the 80's or 90's, its bad but god IT'S fun to PLAY/WATCH.

Unpopular opinion: NFS Undercover gets more hate than it deserves.
At least it had customization, unlike the NFS games that came out for the next 6 years after it.
I agree, especially the 7th gen versions get trashed on solely for handling even though the PS2/Wii ports were just a last resort to rake in money. I swear this game only gets liked by a couple of people due to it's serious but ends up being funny nature. He and almost everyone here never want to give this game a chance all cause of mw 2005...

I recently played through undercover again. Ngl it kind of sucks but in a way that I can tolerate and kind of enjoy. I remember first playing the demo at a booth at formula drift Long Beach before the game came out and thinking it was insanely cool

I remember doing the challenge series for this game and got stuck on that same event Kuru did with the Dodge Charger R/T. I tried 15 or 16 times until I was able to win. Immediately after I won, the crashed. However luckily it still saved my progress so I wouldn't have to go through that bullshit again.

For loudness look at hardware devices called compressors. Fmr audio has something called the really nice compressor (rnc) which goes between the sound card and speaker and can reduce the earrape. Dbx is another popular brand.

I am STILL INTO this game. NO MATTER HOW CANCERIOUS it looks.. I love it. EVEN THE PURSUITS ARE FUN TO ME. HAH If I beat the game and finish all the car events, I'll redo the game. No matter how many times I do it, I'll still love the game. I do have 2012 Most Wanted but Undercover will be remained my favorite game

I was 9yo when this game came out. I got it on Christmas and spent my entire summer holidays playing it (I'm from the southern hemisphere btw), that's probably why it holds such a special place in my life. The only thing that I didn't enjoy as much as the previous titles were the physics, other than that my 9yo self had a blast playing it.

In summary, this game is VERY DANGEROUS.
I'll be honest. The only car that handles "nice" out of the handling model of this game is that particular boss Viper @6:25. And it's literally the only car I used after getting that particular car dlc pack for this game a long time ago on the PS3.
The PC port of this game is indeed unfinished, except on consoles.
PC port doesn't have DoF effect (which can be seen on NIS cuscenes and in garage), proper XInput gamepads support (funny thing is: the game has injected xinput1_3.dll or at least it imports it), initial version has dumb AI at the beginning of the game (so does xbox 360's version), game patches (1.0.1.17,18) worsen graphics (killing reflections and car shadows), etc.
