just found this video, i got goosebumps bro like holy.. i tried this monster once after almost 400 hours of gameplay, completing the fatalis set and getting weapons, but this thing clapped me like i was new to the game.. this person is nuts for doing this without armor and charm. insane display of knowledge and skill. imagine what they could do with full tryhard ultra-sweaty gear and full buff... truly a master monster hunter
Yea I guess sns is the perfect weapon for this since everything is an one shot so you always need to be mobile and not be stuck in an animation or combo while you need to dish out insane dmg which means none stop attacking It's pretty much pure skill display and well hours of dedication

Truly amazing and also velkhana is probably one of my favorite monsters in the game, if we were allowed to tame one monster or elder dragon to ride and fight with it would definitely be this one
I stopped playing IB shortly before Safi released since I didn't have friends playing at the time, so I never got to the proper endgame content. I don't remember SnS doing that ridiculous of damage though, hitting in the 300+ range consistently without armor skills feels absolutely insane. Is that just because of the raw from Fatalis, or does Velk just have a crazy good hitspot on the head?
Yup, both your points are right. The Perfect Rush combo also has high motion values, and Velk's attack windows allow Sns to do PR in a lot of them. So despite no armor/charm, this matchup still ends up being good for Sns
I am having a hard time with This fight. I keep running out of time when it is almost dead, dying in the last two minutes, or playing with randoms and they all die instantly.

I have a love/hate relationship with her. She gives the most intense fights and you feel like you have to be on edge with her. Alatreon is one huge pain for me still. I want to farm him and get some good stuff from it. But either me or any randoms in the mission faint too often.

How does he do the slinger burst so smoothly. When I do it, it take a little longer to shoot after switch it to burst mode. In this video, it seems like it shoos instantly. Any tips? I'm on ps5 controller.
Accidental guard slash is often a sign of rushed inputs. I used to accidentally do that to. What made me consistent was the order of the inputs. Wrong: Guard - Atk button - back direction Safer: Guard - back direction - atk button Its perfectly fine if you enter the guard animation at first.
@@GrandLordBidoofI’ve gotten better at doing it now (still not 100% tho). I’ve found that releasing guard when pressing back helps prevent accidental guard slashes. Now the hard part is actually doing it in the heat of a hunt, so i just need to practice matchups. Cheers!
