Hey guys,
Here is my orchestral cover of Gohan's Anger / SSJ2 Theme from Dragon Ball Z ドラゴンボールZ (US OST version), When I heard Android Orchestra version of this song, I immediately wants to cover this badass soundtrack. Gohan's Anger theme reminds me of good ol days. So, what I come up with is this track in the style of TSFH (I basically copied "None Shall Live" lol), It's my first ever cover in Trailer Music style.

Gohan needs his own movie with this song when he goes back to being the badass he's meant to be.

Right. Such a wasted character now after all the build up on him and he became a joke basically. People say "Oh well he is a reactive character, not a proactive character.", that isn't a good argument. He was 5 when we first saw him. 5! How many 5-year-olds go running around saving the world? Heck, even during the cell saga he was still a damn child. Yeah, he was older than Goku when we first saw Goku, but he was stronger and had already faced more dangers than Goku by the same age. He could have easily changed from a reactive character to a proactive character. But no, they threw him in the trash and wasted all the potential he could have had. So sad. He was one of my favorites until the Boo saga.
Klaus D. I agree with you about the build up, it was stupid on toriyama’s part to foreshadow him to be the. Strongest and then just brush him over but let’s be honest here, as the other commenter said he is his own character. If he took up goku’s mantle he’d be a clone of goku. Future gohan is a good example of what gohan probably would have been like if he kept training and Goku stayed dead. “Defender of the earth” type of thing. Unpopular opinion but I’d rather have this gohan vs a goku clone gohan because at least he has some uniqueness to him.

This was the Son Gohan that I really liked. He wasnt a born warrior like his dad. He just wanted to be like everybody else. That made his anger a lot more personal than Goku's
Exactly, Gohan is one of the few characters of DB Series that struggled and endured the worst possible things to achieve strength.

Umm sir he didn't want to fight and goku was not born a warrior. That's what distinguishes goku from gohan. Gohan was born a warrior and goku was made into a warrior, he was trained molded by all kinds of teachers. Unlike someone he didn't depend on just emotions to transform he trained every day every minute. Don't downplay goku and overplay gohan who was given a lot of plot armor the few moments he shined.
@@tega588 Goku was literally born a warrior what do you mean? That's like what the majority of his species were, if not all of them. Even a "brilliant scientist" like Bardock, his father, was a warrior and often fought. Yeah sure, he trained, I'll give you that, but his meathead mentally of always wanting to fight makes his a warrior, and that wasn't really something that was ingrained in him but anyone else but himself. Training and strength is all he really has going for him, he doesn't really have character outside of that, and even then his most powerful moments are brought upon from emotional or mental states or outright arbitrary mumbo jumbo rather than physical ones.

I always hated being angry. When I would lose it and hurt everyone I loved. But it was the only alternative to sadness, and when I would fall to the bottom again, it would always be there. Then when I found nothing else, it would consume me again and I would fight back.
I vibe with this song because it feels enraged, while also sad, as if it were tragic that gohan was forced that far.
Love this song and I love gohan.

Dude... I can only speak for myself, but I believe that if there was a list of best remixes or remasterings for Gohan’s Anger, this would easily be in the TOP 3 in ALL THE INTERNET for ALL TIME!! You took apart a song and recreated it to make it sound like it *SHOULD HAVE* sounded in the anime. You somehow gave it the right emotional and inspirational punch... no... the emotional and inspirational KAMEHAMEHA that this piece seems to be entitled to have! This music screams “The hero of this story just reached a power level higher than the villain’s! It was at this moment that the villain knew... he f**ked up!”

Gohan should've gone from a reactive character to a proactive one. Gohan's arc was basically that being Reactive will just get him and his family and friends killed. The only times he was able to do anything was when he fought back. Android 16 made him realize that he needs to fight to protect the things he loves. That ssj2 transformation was supposed to mean to us that he was no longer the scared kid he was but the gentle but determined new protector of earth. But they threw all of that away. The Chi chi argument doesn't work since she should've realized that hiding away her son will only cause death and destruction. That way, both Chi Chi and Gohan would've gone from hated characters to two of the most beloved characters in anime. But nooooo they just regressed back like nothing even happened. Chi Chi was the same overprotective mother and Gohan was the coward pussy boy espeically in Super. They made Gohan learn that he needs to fight to protect three times. By trying to make him smart and a nerd they only made him even more stupid

There’s many reasons why Teen Gohan is my favorite out of the bunch. It’s not simply because he’s ruthless but because he was pushed to that point. He’s gentle he doesn’t like to hurt. But it’s because he cherishes life and those he loves is why he fights. And the fact that I see myself in him. Gohan as a character always seemed most interesting to me. He never sought fights like his father, nor did he chase power like Vegeta. He really only fought when he needed to. And if anything, that shows his true strength. Someone who can hold back their emotions until they finally snap is scarier than any hot headed fist thrower.
