- Copperhead Strike is a double launched roller coaster at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina. Manufactured by Mack Rides, the ride debuted to the public on March 23, 2019 as part of a newly themed area, Blue Ridge Junction.The ride is the first double-launched roller coaster, and the second launched coaster at Carowinds, after White Lightnin' (now Golden Loop at Gold Reef City). Carowinds held a private event for media and special guests on March 21, 2019.

I love that coasters like this are unique in that they don't have a lift hill at the start.

Hey Angelo, I was at Carowinds Monday and while I was waiting to board Copperhead Strike they brought in 5 VIP's for a exclusive ride on the coaster. I noticed they were wearing Kings Dominion polo's. Looks like KD executives wanted to check out Copperhead Strike for themselves. Very, Very interesting!

@@AngeloGiles Lol, I do that sometimes, but it gets dull after a while. Forcing myself to be unamused on a fun ride doesn't always work

No because obviously I'm in northern VA. and KD is the only park I can go to as a result... not charlotte NC.

Angelo Giles don’t listen to that man😂😂😂I rode it on season pass holder night and it completely pass my expectations and I rode maverick recently 🤷🏾♂️ this coaster is fire
