Early on there was a video of yourself and Laura coming home in trucks for shipping into the valley with the two ropers Ram and Rio coming back from a rodeo. One of my favourite videos and views and here tonight we are there again driving back into the valley. Love it

Nothing to see here OSHA! Way less danger than hanging 30' up in the air in the cheapest harness sold on Amazon! For a guy that is not a trucker; you sure get "Jonesy" over shiny trucks! That "Shaggy Bark" is great firewood; but is hell on chainsaw bars and chain!

That’s quite the setup for gathering firewood… beats the heck outa the old pickup and crosscut saw me and my brother were given to get ours…. Course like my granddad said it was a step up from the mules and wagon he’d used as a child
I thought it looked like juniper not cedar, the bark is stringy. Juniper makes great hot fires and burns pretty clean. Never too early to gather firewood. You don’t have a lot to choose from right around there. Have to go up in the mountains where you summer the cattle.
You drove past a black cow without a brand on it, right beside the road @ 12:08 in the video. Maybe you will get it on the next round up, it will probably be in the same spot.
Just along the highways, not out in the middle of the desert. Need to keep the sides of the roads clear for visibility and emergencies. You never know when a big truck, hauling a load of manure, might blow a tire or catch fire! The road sides need to be clear of trees and brush so that truck can pull over... and wait for a generous rancher to come along with a water tanker and put the fire out.

Why would they cut down trees in a desert? Seems like that's the opposite of what should be done. But then again, what do I know?
