Well I don't think I have seen anything sweeter than Ridge sleeping beside the calf until Robbie covered Ridge with the towel then laid down beside both of them. That just melts my heart. Thank you for sharing
Robbie covering up his little brother Ridgie and joining in on the slumber party, just sums up how much love these boys have for each other and what an amazing set of values Mom and Dad have instilled in them. I don't think there is a finer family on this planet. For sure that calf will survive with all that love holding him up.
If this doesn’t bring a tear nothing will. I’m sure this brought back memories for several people. My wife told me they had a bottle lamb that their neighbor gave them. His name was Lawrence. He would pull their wagon around the yard trying to catch the leaf they dangled in front of him.
The last few minutes were so emotional for me. Thank you. Also, I would have loved to see Riley driving that MONSTER! A little bit of a man on an elephant's back! Yes! Thank you, Anchor Brand Ranch.
OMG...Li'l Hotshot snuggled up to his Li'l buddy, was just to much for my heart !😭😭😭 That definitely will be an everlasting memory your family will have to cherish !🤠💙 God's timing is always perfect , bless ya'll from Texas !🙏♥️🇨🇱
I know a rancher cannot afford to let a calf die, so sometimes extreme measures must be taken to save a calf. But, the kids learning about compassion & caring for another soul is very nice to see. As for the Cat 992... sometimes big "toys" like that are better left for someone with deeper pockets. I, kindly, suggest that you look for a loader that can be loaded on your trailer without breaking it down (For example: if a bucket is too wide it could require removal in order to transport on highway). Also, the bigger the equipment, the more costly the parts.... & maybe a little harder to find. It would be thrilling to watch Riley on a 992, though! He just seems to be a natural born equipment operator!
Wow! The memories these kids will have! Absolutely adorable! Such caring kids. They just jump in and handle the situation. I sure hope Willy lives. What a story!
Hi Family you cant make this stuff up your killing me could not stop the tears this one of the sweetest videos I have ever seen those boys are so darn sweet beautifull faimly you sure put importance on the right things in life for these kids waiting for next video Kathy Tom Decoste Ontario Canada
Always something special on ABR... I hope "Willie" gets strong enough to join his mama but, if he doesn't I'm sure Ridgie-bug will raise him well. Ditto on the heart strings seeing them lying together and then sweet Robbie comes in for the finish. Wow! What a great video. Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to see what's next.
I love it, my favorite little Ram fam cowboy Ridgey, sleeping with the calf. I'm so glad you captured that on film. I just love watchin that little guy grow up, hes been my favorite since day 1. Calf looks like he's feeling better too.
Thank you for the memories of having wee critters in the house in front of the stove . Sweet sweet seeing the kids sleeping on the floor with the calf. So sweet. Just watching and listening to the two little guys in the equipment yard.. so excited , full of energy and enthusiasm !! I think they could even make opening a can of soup a full out high action adventure !! 🤣🤣🤣 love you all. 💝
I enjoy watching your ranch on a daily basis I tell everybody about it and hope they watch it I just re-watched the wrestling with all the little guys I loved it my boys wrestled so I enjoyed watching yours too bad I don’t live close enough to come watch them in person I also wanted to comment on the fact that your children are so loving and caring for each other and your cattle I love the big guys pick up the little guys and carry and help them with everything they need help with you guys are doing a wonderful job raising your family I just love watching you my children showed steers they showed hogs my daughter and my oldest son showed horses I showed horses so it’s just like watching my family grow up again thank you
What an amazing childhood for your children. Very few of us get to live such a blessed life! May Many blessing come to your family as we near Holy week
So glad to see little willy up on his feet sometimes they just get to cold and as you are so aware never get warm but part of ranch life so enjoy your videos thank you
❤️ this video. Brought more than one calf in the house to save…. You’re making memories for those boys. They will never forget. My three still talk about it once in a while. I would’ve paid to watch Riley drive that monster cat!
Add 2 teaspoons of coffee and 2 sugars to the bottle and it will get it up and going faster Old farmers tried and true trick to saving calf’s and lamb’s and if you have a stomach tube it’s even better for the calf to get him started
Boy oh boy a guy could have made some big holes with that payloader it is huge .It is so great to watch a ranch family and the boys at work to save that calf. Plus Mama doing things and not wreaking because there is a calf walking around her house. Thanks mom and dad love to see a real ranch family. Down to earth. It is great to see that your children and many other rural children grow up with real life values. You are making great adults of these children. Keep up the great videos love them all to see what is going on at the ranch and rodeo's
You guys are a lot like our family my mom had 8 of us kids an we all knew how to run a shovel and pitchfork an of course having calves in the house to get warm. One time my mom came home from sale barn with 90 baby sheep an then she headed to work so us kids bottle fed them the rest of the night
Wished we had cameras. With video! 1986. All we got is pics in North Texas an babies in the house. One calf 2 girls. Many times! Makes ya cry at the memories. Now the grandson's. In SE Oklahoma.
My first job out of high school was driving a 350 International Payhauler building the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway. Loaded under one of those front end loaders a few times. Brought back a few memories!! Of course that was in 1978-1984. That loader would of helped on the ranch for sure!! Maybe another one!!
I think you can change that calf's name from Willy to Will. Ridge sleeping cuddled up next to the calf, and the calf laying its head on Ridge to snuggle back, was the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. 🐄🤠
Them were the good old days !! My first cooking lesson 2 scoops of powdered milk and 3/4 bottle of hot tap water in the clean mop bucket stir ingredients and hustle to barn to serve in giant bottle. Warm and dry do wonders for the little guys.
Hi ram and Laura what beautiful and awesome well, mannered kids love music when they’re talking you’re both wonderful parents and as always you all be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
My husband and I love watching your videos your kids are so sweet and I really miss seeing the older kiddos. But that Reggie Bugs steals my heart with all his questions 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️
Rob is such a good son and brother. You have a beautiful family, lot's of love. Hope the calves made it. That stretch he made is a good sign. Do you have a feeder bag with a tube to tube the calves if they do not want to drink? I slept more than a few nights as a kid by the wood cookstove in the summer kitchen to take care of calves. You would have needed a crane to put the loader back together and had to drive it home, lol.... Hope you all stay safe and healthy.
Back in the 50's my Dad would drive from Parker to Phoenix and buy day old calves. He would break a raw egg in their mouth and make them swallow it at the sale barn. Then he repeated the process at Aguila and again at home. The albumin in the egg seemed to coat their stomach and the protein gave them a boost. We rarely lost a calf! I was about like Ridgey; only I gagged at the process!
****Man I do miss this style of living!! You guys are like me, you live for the animals & you do whatever is necessary to save that animal!! I'm the same way. Floors can always be cleaned, carpets can always be shampooed, it's not always easy to save an animal but it can be done! Who cares about a little poop?? I absolutely love your channel. I would love to live out there, just for the chance to be around doing these things again!!🐎***🐎
Looks like his name will be changing from Willy to Hamburger in a year or two. Haha. It was pretty cute with all you guys taking care of Willy. That Cat weighs just under 188,000 pounds. I think your new trailer would be a little bent when you unloaded it. I wonder how much it would cost to replace that bald tire. God bless you all!
Ritchie brothers are a massive company, they have sales over here in the UK. They sell thousands of plant machines would wide. They have a plant yard about 30 miles from us.
I wish I could help yous out cleaning your junk out. I would do it for fun. Or a Stake dinner even. There are ways and means of moving things around with out a big monster of a loading shovel. Infact a 40 ton tracked digger would be more versatile.
I was shutting down for the night and noticed this note I made as a reminder. 4:01 +/- Mom: "Where's that other towel?" One of the "TWO": "FOCUS ON THE CAMERA!" There's home schooling right there!
That is a COWBOY. Ive spent a few nights up with calfs get them in and dried off and warmed up and a couple good feeds and then back outside. They are tough little suckers.
Those ol 992Cs were the best in there day!! I kept a bunch of them running back when they were used around north Texas made me a lot of money. But probably be glad you didn’t get it while they get a lot of work done they cost a lot to operate lol
Just a suggestion, we were able to save many weak calves that wouldn't suck by having a tube feeder. It would get the milk in them until they get strong enough to drink on their own. Love your vids.
My parents would always bring the sick calves in the house and put them in the bath tub to warm them up and doctor them. That loader on your new trailer would've been worse than putting your D8 on your old trailer. You'd need a 100 ton trailer to haul that loader, I believe that it's around 180,000 pounds. Even if you broke it down further You'd still need like a 70 ton trailer and a couple loads to get it hauled. That's why it didn't bring much at the auction because it'd cost more to haul it than it's worth, I'd guess it'd cost $20 per mile to pay someone to haul it.
Well I don't think I have seen anything sweeter than Ridge sleeping beside the calf until Robbie covered Ridge with the towel then laid down beside both of them. That just melts my heart. Thank you for sharing
Sure got to me too.
I agree
Just plain good people!
Robbie covering up his little brother Ridgie and joining in on the slumber party, just sums up how much love these boys have for each other and what an amazing set of values Mom and Dad have instilled in them. I don't think there is a finer family on this planet. For sure that calf will survive with all that love holding him up.
God has blessed a wonderful family. The boys are so gentle and kind. Ridgy has a new bed partner. So much love
😍😍Ridgey and Robbie at the end, just so precious. 🙏❤❤
Oh my gosh, I am in tears. Robbie is so sweet to cover up his brother and then lay down beside them. What a sweet soul he is.
Working with cattle and learn as you go will stay a life time, and a wife that lives that way is priceless. Your family is truly blessed.
If this doesn’t bring a tear nothing will. I’m sure this brought back memories for several people. My wife told me they had a bottle lamb that their neighbor gave them. His name was Lawrence. He would pull their wagon around the yard trying to catch the leaf they dangled in front of him.

Goodness, that pulled at the strings of my heart. Hope all that love and attention did the little dood good. Much Love to ABR! 💜💜💜
Riley is going to be a great cow man he cares you see it in his eyes.
Your kids comforting this calf is priceless, you have a great family, love every vid you’ve put out 👍🦄💗💗
OMG...Li'l Hotshot snuggled up to his Li'l buddy, was just to much for my heart !😭😭😭 That definitely will be an everlasting memory your family will have to cherish !🤠💙 God's timing is always perfect , bless ya'll from Texas !🙏♥️🇨🇱

Mom & Dad thought they were saving a Calf . What they really were doing is strengthening a family bond. Our world needs a whole lot more of this!!!
Hi Family you cant make this stuff up your killing me could not stop the tears this one of the sweetest videos I have ever seen those boys are so darn sweet beautifull faimly you sure put importance on the right things in life for these kids waiting for next video Kathy Tom Decoste Ontario Canada

The patience and tolerance that Laura has seems to unending!
The part of, I think it’s Ridgey, the video where he’s asleep with the calf right there- PRICELESS!! Love it 🥰 ❤
What an amazing childhood for your children. Very few of us get to live such a blessed life! May Many blessing come to your family as we near Holy week
That little calf has a better chance at life with all them young ranchers tending to him. I think that calf tired your little one out. Very cute.
So glad to see little willy up on his feet sometimes they just get to cold and as you are so aware never get warm but part of ranch life so enjoy your videos thank you
Prayers for the Willy. He is sure precious.
I have 11 grandchildren and one great granddaughter, and I’d take on these nine kids in a heartbeat…they are all such good kids❤️❤️
I really appreciate your videos 👍. Little Ridge sleeping with the calf was great.this is the way life should be.
As always never a dull moment at the ranch 😊😊😊

If you don't choke up seeing Ridgey & Willy curled up on the floor you have no ❤.
Love your kids. Whata wonderful job you and your wife are doing raising these kids.
Rigdie and Robbie are so sweat, they make !y day every video I watch thank you for raising such good kids.
It’s cool watching the older boys work together to get the calf up and feeding.

That machine driving past as you were loading it would be perfect!
Adding a tablespoon of molasses to the milk helps to give a quick energy boost as well. Especially when they are that worn down
Reggie & Willie tha calf. Cowboy for life. Robbie & his lil buddy. Priceless just Priceless Blessings from Texas
I think he was very happy to pee for the first time in his little life!! Sooo adorable ♥️🐮♥️
Aww 🥰. So precious to see Reggie fall asleep beside the calf
You all are just the best parents ever.
Stuff city kids will never have the pleasure of doing. Awesome
the calf reminded me of day long past when we had a farm when I was young your boys are really lucky to have that life style
What a great cowboy.
God bless you all and your Ranch. 🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸

Hope you took a lot of pictures of Ridge and the calf and Robbie too! 14k was a good price but probably would cost that much to get it home!
Cool, kids and cows. Huge boy toy. Aww sleeping with a calf.
Oh my God!! that's so sweet little cow boy❤❤❤
love your family and post can't wait for the new ones and the kids are amazing they are not afraid of anything and will try anything
Thank you for sharing your family with us. There's a lot of love at your house.❣️⚓️🌵
Hi ram and Laura what beautiful and awesome well, mannered kids love music when they’re talking you’re both wonderful parents and as always you all be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I think the biggest Cat you can trailer without taking it apart is a Cat 988.
I hope little Willy and his mom are soon together!
My husband and I love watching your videos your kids are so sweet and I really miss seeing the older kiddos. But that Reggie Bugs steals my heart with all his questions 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️
16:30 I love team work 🥰
We’ve had cows in the house, an alpaca, and several bathtubs full of lambs. Never a dull moment on a farm. Especially when it’s cold outside.
Boys have such kind hearts. So precious

Wow this is one of my favorites. Nothing beats Ridgie mutton busting, but this was fun to watch the boys. Maybe one becomes a vet one day. Thx guys!

Another very good video Thank you Anchor brand
one used tire for that loader is worth way more than what it sold for.

Great video Ramzi Laura and family
I work in coal mine in Alaska, be happy you don’t own it, big steel is cool, but expensive, love your vids, your family is priceless 👍👍
Ramzi, that bucket holds 9 to 10 ton of rock. 2 buckets will severely overload a 4 axle dump truck. At 14k it almost recycles for that much.
Do what ya gotta do. Great work by all.
Consumate Cattlemen!! We love your videos
