Finaly someone who cares about sound. It's really annoying seeing classical pianist placing a piano sound into synthesia-tutorials instead of synth, organ etc... I'm glad you did this. This was my first non-piano keyboard song. Keep rockin' Dr. Mix.
Wow , I’ve been a Van Halen fan for best part of 40 years and that my friend was superb. Eddie Van Halen was a really underestimated keyboard players and Jump, especially the solo part shows just that and you did him justice Love it . Bravo Claudio . Forza Doctor Mix 😎
For that he would need Fairlight CMI + DX7 Mk1 just for the lead sound. Bass line was made on Jupiter 8 so Claudio must borrow a lot of studio gear for this ;)
This is such a definitive rock/pop crossover song. When we [the band] first heard this back in '83 we just had to play it. The keyboard riff... the guitar solo... the keyboard solo...and those awesome vocals. Everything was superbly on point. What a monster! These Arturia vintage plugins are the bomb as well.
The visualizations of the parts are insane, congrats on kicking it up by an order of magnitude, so easy to see what is going on. This is indeed spot on, such amazing talent.
Claaaauuudiooooo!! You always make my day dude! As talented as charismatic, as funny as handsome, with a new wave synth heart but with funky groove blood and latin hips rhythm. There’s not enough cameras in your studio to show us all of your angles. 🔊💗🐧
I like how this fantastic recreation can be posted, but my half-assed recreation of the Disco Duck music bed got blocked for copyright. :) They must have hated how poorly I represented their song.
This and "I'll Wait" are probably two of my most favorite Van Halen songs. I think I actually like I'll Wait more because there's a lot of very subtle and cool things that happen in rhythm and base lines that were cutting edge of sound, that even today still impress me. Just how the synth splits from a single note to two as the song is building up just really gets me. Just awesome. Oh, and by the way, excellent job on Jump! Dr. Mix!
Simply BRILLIANT video of Van Halen’s Jump, all the angles, drums, the bass, beautifully shot and sheer bliss to listen to!!! Rock in peace, Edward!! Musical genius. Love you always and forever!
Dude great job on this vid ! I think that instead of the « C-F-G » chord you’re playing in the riff, it’s « C-E-G » in the way that the middle voice is doing « F->E->D »
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 ! As a former percussionist and video editor, I like the animated drum set whichever software that is. Actually I like the entire presentation, nicely done. Not to mention the track, you rocked it! Bravo. 😎💯
Wow I love the video I’ve been out practicing on my Yamaha keyboard for like half an hour thank you so much and I can finally play that amazing Van Halen tune from the 80s God bless you keep up the great job
Awesome! Now for the request 😀: The Cars Bye Bye Love Let's Go It's All I Can Do Just What I Needed Magic Some great classic synth and rock sounds there. Sorry if this is a repeat request, I can't keep up with all the channels.
You've inspired me to finally try to learn synth's ...i just love the sound so much I want to create my own music with them. I had no idea something like this was available.
Great - I picked up Arturia's OB-Xa V on its day of release, it's sensational. Arturia couldn't have chosen a better person to show off its brilliance!
Any chance you can share your Arturia OB-Xa V patch? The Jump patch that is there is far from the one you used. I can see several changes (more than just "bit of portamento") has been changed. Your Filter Envelope Sustain seems too low in the video to be holding the tone on the longer notes so I am definitely missing something. You have definitely dialed it in somehow.
Awesome! I especially liked the string noise. Very authentic. With this and the Alex Ball (Dave) Synth Metal tutorial, it seems there's a smell of fresh spandex in the air.
Bought the V collection a few month ago and now they include this for the same price (M..da!). Anyway 49 Eur is still ok. If my wife asks why I spent money again on music stuff I'll blame it on Claudio. haha!
Playing this, I launched the “DLR Soundboard” on my phone and started playing along with the “whooo” “oh yeaaaaaah” & “yeahhhhhhh yeaaaaah” that seemed to spice up the experience, then my GF walked in. The look on her face was everything.
I'm no professional piano/keyboard player (learned a bit of piano in school), but the second to last chord you play on the verse/chorus part of the keyboard riff sounds incorrect to my ears, based on how I remember the song. You're playing it as C-F-G (Csus4.) I think it's supposed to be C-E-G (C major triad.) I guess I'm just nitpicking, but other than that, the synth sounds great. You're a great keyboard player and I enjoy watching your videos!
I was about to comment the very same thing but was actually pretty sure I'm not the only one who noticed it right off the bat. The sound is spot on though!

Keep rockin' Dr. Mix.
I’m so excited. The first song I ever played on my keyboard was Jump! I can’t wait!
It's the obligatory init patch jam for every synth I touch for the first time lol
I'll wait.
Wow , I’ve been a Van Halen fan for best part of 40 years and that my friend was superb.

Could you please recreate Simple Minds's
"Don't You(Forget About Me)"?
Also, this cover is great. Keep going!
Look at synthmania he did it
Like a original....Congrats!!!!! And..... Neeeeexxxxt "Crockett's Theme Jan Hammer"....please!!!!
God yesss that would be so cool !!!
Oh hell yes, please!!!!!
For that he would need Fairlight CMI + DX7 Mk1 just for the lead sound. Bass line was made on Jupiter 8 so Claudio must borrow a lot of studio gear for this ;)
Да да да полностью согласен👍🏻
@@dmomcilovic9185 No, I will order what I think is convenient. some problem?

One of the greatest guitarists invented one of the greatest synth riffs. Only EVH could have done that. Rest in peace buddy.
Makes me realise just what a masterpiece of pop/rock this is.
One of, if not the most recognisable synth leads in the world.
Claaaauuudiooooo!! You always make my day dude! As talented as charismatic, as funny as handsome, with a new wave synth heart but with funky groove blood and latin hips rhythm. There’s not enough cameras in your studio to show us all of your angles. 🔊💗🐧
Yayyyy 🙌🕺😎💋

it's been claimed, so the money from the video ads is going to the label who owns the rights to the song

“I’ll Wait” is flame brought down from Olympus

“I get up, and nothing gets me down!” “Hey you! Who said that? Baby, how you been?!”
Excellent!! Looking forward to this!
Bravissimo Dr. Mix! 🙌🏼👏👏👏 Esattamente come la originale! porta momenti buoni. Grazie mille! ✌🏼
Magnificent work Claudio !
I just miss watching you for hours reconstructing music! Please the full reconstruction videos Claudio!
Dude great job on this vid ! I think that instead of the « C-F-G » chord you’re playing in the riff, it’s « C-E-G » in the way that the middle voice is doing « F->E->D »
Why did I know when I read the title that it was going to include Arturia's new OB-Xa... #jump
You my friend brighten my day.
What a joy to watch! Kudos for a great rendition.

Drum software is Jamstix
Fingers thanks! .. I forgot to mention in my first comment, that this song is my phone’s ringtone. 😎 (the actual song, original artist)
Wooow! Thank you Doctor Mix. Awesome!
Wow I love the video I’ve been out practicing on my Yamaha keyboard for like half an hour thank you so much and I can finally play that amazing Van Halen tune from the 80s God bless you keep up the great job
Instant like for every video I watch in your channel ♥️
Pretty snappy with the keyboard appreggio’s!
He's only gone and done it again. Brilliant!
One word : wow !! You even played the bass guitar parts. And very good job during the synth solo. EVH would be proud.
Doctor Mix Satisfaction Guaranteed!
Awesome man!! That’s the first Ob-Xa demo that actually sounds like the real jump tone!
You're so talented! Great video, great tutorial, great presentation! I'm a big fan of Dr. Mix!
I always look forward to these. Great track!
Doctor mix....awesome!!! High Nivel.... excellent!!! Congrats
Awesome!
Now for the request 😀: The Cars

Some great classic synth and rock sounds there.
Sorry if this is a repeat request, I can't keep up with all the channels.
woow i really love this song and the cover is perfect. thank you for not changing anything from the original and not improvising unnecessarily
Wow! Excellent job Claudio, you nailed it!
Great song. I just bought the Tracks. Thank you Doctor Mix.
Thank you.
Can you deconstruct "Space Race" ?
By Billy Preston
You've inspired me to finally try to learn synth's ...i just love the sound so much I want to create my own music with them. I had no idea something like this was available.
You are a showman. Congrats from Brasil.
Hats off. You nailed it in the solo. Kudos my friend
Great times, this is rock and roll. Congratulations.
Absolutely awesome Dr Mix I mean WOW 🤩 I’ve always love this track and as I get older it just gets better. God bless yah 💋
Just sick. Very impressing!
Only just discovered the channel..... Great work mate!
Well done! I have been a Van Halen fan since I was young... and Jump is my favorite song! 🤘
Now that's how you play it! Superb doc! 😎👍 Who was waiting for the keyboard solo?.. Lol..
Thanks for this, chorus and solo are easy, but never could figure out the synth part during the bridge and the guitar solo.
Another amazing video Claudio:)
Great - I picked up Arturia's OB-Xa V on its day of release, it's sensational. Arturia couldn't have chosen a better person to show off its brilliance!
This made me happy.
Woohoo I ain't gonna miss it baby! Greetings from Brazil! Stay safe.
Really cool video! Very cool way of showing instruments being played.
Legend, thanks for this, loved it! I'm gonna make my own of this tune.
Excellent work!
Wow, I love this song, hope it sounds well😃
I hope so too!!
😂😂😂
Bravo, Claudio! Impresionante!!
I had never properly heard the keyboard parts in the bridge starting when the bass plays a Bb. Great video!

Identical Sound👍👍
Awesome!
I especially liked the string noise. Very authentic.

Some truly epic finger skills!!! It's actually quite a deceptively hard track to play. That solo is still incredibly hard to play. Awesome work man!
Wow that solo was perfect!
That's flippin mint that mate!
Gotta Love that tone, very very accurate to the original. Love that VST 😍😍
Oh God I was a teenager then!! Awesome times!!!
Bro.............Perfection!
Bought the V collection a few month ago and now they include this for the same price (M..da!). Anyway 49 Eur is still ok. If my wife asks why I spent money again on music stuff I'll blame it on Claudio. haha!
Oh you got the new vst already? That's awesome man
Playing this, I launched the “DLR Soundboard” on my phone and started playing along with the “whooo” “oh yeaaaaaah” & “yeahhhhhhh yeaaaaah” that seemed to spice up the experience, then my GF walked in. The look on her face was everything.
Finally a live video where you are not shaking your ass at the camera Hallelujah, but on another note this is absolutely perfect good job
The OB-XA sounds unreal!!!
I have played this on piano with alternating octaves in the bass for 35 years starting in my dads music shop on the DX7. Golden years.
Was literally looking to see if you had done this the other day and here it is
Yup! :)
How good is this!
Great cover! RIP EDDIE

Semplicemente fantastico Claudio......👍👏

Yes, you are correct. It should be C major triad over F in the bass.
I was about to comment the very same thing but was actually pretty sure I'm not the only one who noticed it right off the bat. The sound is spot on though!
