      good question but who is give u a honest answer ?

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  26 дней назад

      Really good question. So take tennis shoes or running shoes as an example. Pro runners or players will tell you, they change the shoes not because of the outsole being used too much, but because of the foam cushioning being used to the point where it no longer gives you comfort and energy return you need.
      But there is a difference with the foam inside a frame. The frame holds the foam in one place. So the frame itself works as a protective housing. The foam cannot really expand anywhere like the cushioning in a tennis shoe. So aI think the longevity of the foam inside a tennis racket frame is far longer compared to shoes. But of course it gets worse and worse over time like with any other material including graphite itself.

      The problem I have with most of the "professional" reviews today is that they ignore the whole narrative about a tennis racket. They review it from their personal stand point, based on simple emotions and very narrow vision of the product, that is actually meant for thousands and thousands of people, not only for them. So the review should be more balanced, open and should also include the possible risks and flaws that almost every racket has. But of course we know how it is with the big "reviewers" around. It's their job. For me, it's a hobby and that's the only way I can stay independent.

    • @perfect-tennis
      @perfect-tennis 26 дней назад

      @@CzechTennisGuy Yes, racket reviews are kind of pointless. When you read or watch a review, you get one person’s subjective experience heavily influenced by their unique circumstances. And most of them have not even played it with for an extended period. I believe if you were to get several reviewers together, and get them to try out blacked-out rackets, then most would not be able to specify which is which. Outside the differences in head shape/beam making it too obvious. After all, the rackets come out of the same factory anyway regardless of brand.

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  26 дней назад

      That's true but at the same time it's a bad advertisement for Wilson. If the racket is true to it's origins, people would keep it jst to have Rogers racket in their collection. But with this new "grandpa Roger" racket people don't trust it nor believe in it that much. It's hard to tell if the racket is "bad" or if the marketing and all of the hype was really meant to be this way. In my opinion instead of this series they should have release an ultimate RF97 racket with the exact specs including customized weight that would be incorporated directly to the frame itself without using lead tape. People would buy it and keep it, not sell.

      @@NdRe_zA That's true and I should not ignore that but we live in 2024 and I don't do "history" videos even though they might be very interesting to some extent. But if you look back 10 years, there is not much to say about foam filled rackets. I literally found out about this thanks to Tecnifibre. Maybe the racket companies back in the days didn't marketed it for some reason. So now it looks like a "completely new tech". Even Wilson puts it in their RF 01 rackets and calls it a Feel Fill technology. There was zero words about this in the previous years, nothing. Only Tecnifibre started marketing it in 2020 with their TFight RS series. So it's still fresh in this sense. And now others will follow.
      I can see people getting frustrated little bit with this video and now I see why. Next time I will pay more attention to this fact checking. But only this shows that even someone like me who spent his whole life with a tennis racket in his hand doesn't know everything. And at least this opens up some new and interesting discussion where everyone can learn from others. That's why I'm doing these videos to "compare" my experience with experience of others which is super exciting. Thanks fo your comment.
