Hey, fellow San Diegan here too. I know I'm late to the game. But I finally discovered this super affordable rc car and got it. now I'm hooked. this thing hauls ass on 3s. Fun and safe on the included 2s batteries. So far my only change is the receiver to use my Noble NB4. I see you have the same problem with the left blinker, lol. And the other mod is I changed the connectors on the Esc and batteries to xt60. Totally impressed with this car with the rubber tires and with the drift wheels and tires. The only cons so far is the steering rack is flimsy. Servo is weak. And the Phillips head screws drive me crazy. I'm so in love with these MJX rc cars that I'm getting the drift truck too. Cool video. and keep on spreading the word on how good these affordable RCs are.
@@Socalnik66 what’s up neighbor! Totally agree, this is a fun car and platform. I upgraded the servo to a cheap Amazon king Val servo but I think it makes a difference. I just bought another cheap servo for the 14301 truck it’s stronger than the original but slower. That’s my biggest issue so far it’s the platform. I need to find a servo that’s fast enough to keep this thing hooning around. I just got a servo from Rlaarlo. I think that should do the trick. Haven’t installed it yet. I’m in a Rlaarlo faze right now but I plan on focusing on these Mjx rc’s next. Thanks for the comment and please let me know if you have any more upgrades and tune techniques for this rc✌🏼
It sure is a beauty man! Pretty much runs like its brother the Drift truck, which is awesome to drive! This being dressed in that gorgeous rally body just does it for me! Awesome rip brother!
4:13 Random pencil appears. Nice parking! As with anything, wheeltime and lots of driving will improve your driving, no worries. I bought this model as well, I cannot bring myself to drive it yet, until I know the cost of a replacement body!
Appreciate you. The damage I’ve done to this body really hurts. Debating if I should go full ham on this body (it’s already broken) or swap the rear body post and use the 14301’s body🤷🏽♂️. Like you said I’m waiting to buy a replacement ✌🏼
Nah, a Rally car without scratches isn't a Rally car. 😊 I'm also pretty shure there will be replacement bodies for this one, as you are able to buy them for the 14301 and 14302. They cost around 20-30€, if I remember correctly.
Keep in mind the stock servo was defective when this car was shipped to me so I upgraded to a king Val servo and I put a radio link transmitter in. Those two upgrades add a touch of smoothness.✌🏼
I put the dumborc x6 receiver in mine and hooked the lights up to channel 4 and it makes it were you can push the switch left or right and the signal comes on for what ever direction you push the switch
And I put arrma Typhon grom wheels and tires on it and it raised the ride height and I'm able to do way more than driving on the streets and it actually makes it faster. My runs 45 on 3s lipo
@@MatthewDieterjr I’m not positive but i believe a new receiver / transmitter fixes that. When my 14303 was shipped it came with a faulty servo. I swapped that stock servo out for a king Val servo. Also my plan was to swap transmitters out the gate. So I never drove this with the stock transmitter or servo. All the videos I have of this are with both of those upgraded. I’ve never had any issues with throttle delays that I can remember. I also have the 14301 which is the same car minus the body. I’ve driven the 14301 completely stock and I can remember that stock transmitter / receiver having a very short range. Couldn’t even get to top speed before it lost signal. That’s reason enough to swap it. Can’t remember if there was any throttle delay. I have videos of my first 3 packs used for the 14301. Maybe those will show something. Hope that helps
@Rangoli_rc thanks for the info my dude. I also heard that you should put silicone grease in the diffs. I don't think I'm going to put as much as they do in it though I feel like it'll make the gears have more resistance than the motor work harder a little bit of silicone grease gets rid of that grinding sound when you roll them and I feel like it would increase the longevity of the vehicle?
Nice one, bro! Those upgrades and 3S help it out a lot imo. Too bad about the damage, though. The Lancia bodies aren't too expensive from what I've seen.. probably around $30-$40.🫡
Please share what servo you got for this guy, I'm looking for one for my 14301, I broke the servo at the race track, but he was a menace while he was running! 🫡
Hell yes ! I love the look of this !
Hell ya bro! I agree with ya on the lancer body, mot feeling it at all
It’s a looker for sure. I get nervous driving it.
Bruh Mog nice RC Subaru I have one@@Rangoli_rc

Nice video thanks for sharing this 🙏 Keep Smiling 😁 from RC Lover From Norway 😊
I got mine just hours ago, and watching videos of it while the other battery finishes charging up. Then I go rip. Cheers!

Can you make a video how you change the servo?
Wow 😊😮
Really nice Ride Fam!
🙏🏽 appreciate it bro
Looks like a fun little rally car 🙂👍
Yeah this platform is one of my favorites ✌🏼

Lights plugged into the wrong channel
You got the radio link and reciever combo ? I just got an mjx 14303 but the transmitter is garbage. Car ripssss on 3s tho just need range man !
@@RacerRC yup that stock transmitter is trash. I believe I got an upgraded king Val servo too. But yeah man get that Mjx transmitter outa there
Awesome rally car Rangoli I wonder what is making the lights blind on the left side? But I’m sure you have figured it out already .
😂 nope lefty still blinking 😁 appreciate you bro✌🏼
mine should arrive in a couple of days, have u adjusted the ride height? seems like it wants to roll over every time u corner. 😅
I heard there was a slight delay in the acceleration stock out of the box, does just getting a new receiver fix that or do you think it's the servo?
