We are currently in an age where every successful movie or video game is either a sequel, remake, or throwback to 20-40+ year old movies and features actors playing their same characters from those decades ago, no matter how old and geriatric they are now. But what about everyone younger than 30? The ones out of the loop like Kyle? He was there for Deadpool, but a lot were there to see Hugh Jackman play Wolverine again. How did he feel going to see Deadpool surrounded by 30+ year-olds wildly applauding every time Wolverine or any cameo did...well, anything in this movie? Did it feel like being at a party you weren't invited to? Were you thinking, "Are these old weirdos gonna do this every time another old dude shows up? lol, why?" How else would someone react to media pandering to nostalgia they don't even have?
I get that. Hell, in 2019 I couldn't help but notice that Disney did not release a single original film that year. Everything was either a sequel, remake, or spinoff. Then they did pretty much the same thing 5 years later resulting in them breaking their 9 year streak of movies making a billion dollars. However, I just couldn’t help but roast Kyle's lack of knowledge. I'm still laughing at the Phoenix vs. Raven Death Battle at how he spent over half of Phoenix's segment believing the X-Men were DC characters. And speaking of the Indiana Jones review, I think Deadpool would sum it up as: Deadpool: Yeah another one of these. Lucas and Spielberg ended it, Disney brought it back. They're gonna make Ford do this till he's 150.

If youre interested in more comic stuff, I'd recommend you watch some of GodzillaMendoza's vids, he recently put out a good one about about Deadpool & Wolverine. He's kind of an underrated channel if you ask me. He also recently said he's going to redo his "Spider-man games retrospective" series to bring it up to his current level of quality, which as an old viewer, i can't wait to see
