I bought one for 1,5 years ago. I am a Norwegian, the home of scandi grinds, and this one is my favorite bushcraft knife. I talked with Joe. Flowers about it too, i love it alot. So now i am going to make my own version of it, just for fun. and a combat version a 7". I make and forge knives, but i also buy alot of them too, gives inspiration you know.
Awesome. I’m a big fan of the Wayfinder. I started collecting knives 15 years ago, and I’ve been making knives for 3 years. “rf.knives” on Instagram. I’d like to see some of your work 👍
Neat technique planting the tip in the stump to make shavings and feather, all in a neat pile, the knife's not to bad, nice continuous curve, good edge geometry and a nice comfortable handle, good stuff.
Great vid I have a few condors knives kephart Bushlore cavelore otzi and the duku machete they all perform very well been looking at this knife for awhile once again great vid I subbed
Clean a deer with it yet? I imagined it would lend itself well with boning, kind of like a do all. I really struggled with mine. But I will say a good part of that was I don't do such task with as large of blade, 3 to 4" parring knives are my go to. The blade was much larger than what I'm used to and the handle didn't agree with my grip. It's a fine specimen of a knife and I really had my hopes up for it. Made a banging Xmas gift at the company party!
“With everything going on now, in 2020, I think prices are a little higher than they normally are.” Honestly, I think that’s Condor. They started REALLY pushing up their MAP around 2019. Their stuff used to be great bargains. Still generally good quality gear, but not so much a bargain anymore. They’ve got so many cool designs it’s really a shame. They could be the number one player in the Bushcraft space if they’d just roll things back even 15%. Not sure if their channel costs went up a couple years ago, or if someone got greedy.
The small thumb ramp area does have a 90 degree spine. Any knife can be made to have a 90 degree spine with just a few swipes with a metal file. It takes 10 seconds. I never let the spine angle decide weather I want to buy a knife. Good luck and Thank You for watching!!
@@RogerF Hahaha... I'm messing with ya. You said you really were not fond of the Crotalus. :) Actually, I'm deciding between the wayfinder and the Bisonte.... or if I can sell my Tops Brakimo, going for a Bradford 5.5 in 3V. A little pricey though.
I tend to agree. Condor has gained popularity over the years and their prices have reflected that. I think the price has come down a tad since this video.

Great knife, I have one and it is enjoyable.
I agree. Thanks for watching!

I really appreciate that. I learned the technique from youtube videos of course. Thanks for watching!
Very under-appreciated knife. I've had mine for about 7 months now and it's such a great knife.
I agree! I’m excited to use it more this winter.

Thank you for watching and subscribing! I am glad you enjoyed it and your Condor knives.
That was a nice review very genuine
@Shane Lonergan. Thank you! I really appreciate that. Thanks for watching.
This was a great review. I'm subbing. (And I'm buying one of these knives) 👍
Thank you for watching and subscribing! I really appreciate it. It’s a great outdoor camp and bushcraft knife. Let me know what you think of it.

Sorry, I have not. A Mora is what I usually use to field dress my deer. I bet it would work well though. A touch on the larger side for that though.
@@RogerF Great minds think alike! Seeing as it's free and all, I reckon you deserve a new subscriber.

They have great stuff and at least they are getting recognition they deserve. I love the vintage look their knives have.
Is the spine 90°?

This.... or the Crotalus?
Good question. This would be the better bushcraft blade. The Crotalus
Is a better all around camp knife. Just my opinion.

The price is a little too high for my budget.

Looks like a 1095 Bushlore with a bow drill divet .
It’s larger. It’s a little longer and the handle is more robust. I’m a fan.
Where are you in wisconsin? I see you have a gun right there lol I'm by sheboygan
Hello! This is filmed on some hunting land north of Crivitz. Those darn bears keep coming around! I’ve been to the Sheboygan county fair many times.
Getcha a holster for that handgun! 😁 Oh geez! Youbetcha! Sorry. Had to practice my Wisconsin-isms.
@@JohnSmith-gs4lw I have one.
