yeah.. the stamina it takes to sit through over 11 hours of blindfolded gameplay with sometimes highly inconsistent strategies is amazing. like wingcap, manta ray etc. are just utterly dumb stars to nail blindfolded. there are just not really any good setups for a lot of stars and they rely a lot muscle memory and hoping for the best.

I feel like there's an important life lesson to be learned from this journey. Bubzia couldn't do what Nobori was doing to achieve his times and he was well aware of that, so he focused on improving what he actually could, even if these methods didn't take him to the top straight away. If he kept trying to replicate Nobori, the entire saga would have ended with him.

I'll recommend you to watch Bubzia's 120 star blindfolded world record if you ever get the time, it's over 11 hours so it's a long watch, and he wasn't quite as good back then as he is now (still extremely good for a blindfolded player of course, but you might notice less consistency and speed compared to his most recent runs), but it's still probably my favourite speedrun of all time, and I'm pretty sure he's still the only person who has completed a 120 star run blindfolded, so it isn't exactly easy haha.
