One of my last videos before I go off to university again at the end of August. It was a good four month break off of school, though I can't say I did as much as I wanted.
This is a MIDI of Legends Never Die (ft. Against the Current) by MBMS / Jim M., an underrated blacker in the community. He uses the well-known hybrid-percussive style with some note art. I will likely be uploading more of his MIDIs as time goes by.

MBMS should try to use less funnels and try to be more creative with other types of phrases in my opinion. Besides that he's quite on the right track.
Yeah it's pretty formulaic with the percussive style we've seen in years passed, but nonetheless it is a good progression
I think I managed the phrases a bit better on other MIDIs. I made this MIDI to try this type of blacking in my opinion it did not turn out as good as the other style.
Yeah, you even said your other MIDIs were a big improvement (which I will likely upload eventually!).

People typically use MIDI sequencers like Domino and FL Studio (though the latter is a full-fledged DAW!) to make black MIDIs. The program used to play back the MIDI (that you saw in the video) is Synthesia
