Let me just clarify I did not make this song or MIDI. I just adapted it onto Synthesia by playing the file onto the program. It is a completely original composition by my friend, TheSuperMarioBros2. that's the exact reason for introducing Tau actually. So you don't have to do 2*π*r but can do τ*r instead to get the circumference which for a reason I can't remember seems more convenient than π*d... Something along those lines...

I don't see anyone praising how obscenely good this song is. Every section of this song has a uniquely black midi sound, even the simple parts, and 0:42 is just amazing.
It takes an incredible understanding of chords to write this many notes and still come out sounding beautiful, even if 95% of them are art notes. TheSuperMarioBros2 is a genius.

get 10 pianos each with their own super skilled player. Divide the octaves between them in some fashion (so they only need to play on 8-9 keys each). Let them practice for a few months and then record the result.

The notes that are playing the music and beats are hidden behind those silent notes , so most of them are not that obvious , and the silent notes are just some decorations to make it look cooler or something like that.
