I get so excited when I see a new vid of yours!!! This one must be my new favorite!!! Thanks!!!
Thanks Giaco!! :)
I know they are so rare
When I watch your videos I have this feeling, that you always try to go straight to the point, without overthinking stuff. Whether it is true or not it is very inspiring!! Also your range of skills is really huge and they all seem to work together. I for instance, have many skills but they look like separate islands to me....
Thanks Marek! Yes, I think thats true, but thats the trick, just do it, don't think about how you can't.
Your videos are always the highlight of my week.
Great job!
+Mr. everything Nice to hear :) Thanks!
unparallelled Kris... also the editing and the music... hats off
Love it dude!!!👏
Your skill, your equipment 👏
Dude you are frigging awesome. Just the amount of dedication you have is plain mind blowing. The finishing you do is amazing! I look up to you as future me. 😃
Thanks man! :)
Excellent video, beautifully crafted, I love your attention to detail. You are a fantastic engineer my friend.
:) Thanks!
Pretty easy - it looks that way!
So when I came home and wanted to build something similar then nothing happened.
You are out of this world. I love your channel.
I would love if you would give some teaching videos
greetings from Sonu Model Makers and Automation India, great video
Hey Kris. You should do a Q&A video about your background, skills, your workshop and your work. Really enjoying all your videos and want to learn how you got to where you are!
Maybe I'll do that when this project is finished :) Thanks!
It is so inspiring to see your vids Kris! Thank you!
Thanks! :)
Thanks for all your work!!! Very exciting!!!
:) Thanks for watching!
most amazing thing i have watched on internet today
One of the best youtube channels ... Kris ! you deserve better than that "like" for your videos ))

my favorite youtuber of all time! goat for sure
awesome, awesome channel! I wish you'd go full time, always happy when i see a new video of yours!
Thanks Felix! Full Time, I wish that was an option, but that thats never going to happen. Right now, it just cost me a lot of money to do those projects ( which i happily spend ) :)
Another great video Kris, love the giant pogo pins!
Thanks! Didn't know the where called pogo pins, learned something new today :)
Great Work.....
All the Best
fantastisch werk Kris! Keep those videos coming.
:) merci Evert!
Very nice video. Always fun to see.
+dannytemmerman16 thanks! Nice to meet an other Temmerman :)
Amazing! I can't wait to see what you're gonna use this little guy for :D
Thanks! that will come clear in the next video :)
Thank U for sharing your masterpiece. I love it very much .
Great project - would you post instructions and plans with the application so others can make it also? Thanks for sharing! Nice job!
Editing skills are on point !
Thanks! I'll try my best but still room for improvement :)
Pure delight!
Thanks! :)
Thank you ,most supporting information
Great Work! Very inspiring! Keep it up
Thanks! glad you liked it :)
As soon as I saw your RUclips channel I Subscribe
But also excellent work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I am working on an omniwheel bot as well. Fun project, but quite a ways to go for my build.
Nice music and video.
wow, nicely done!
+PubheroNL Thanks :)
wow....amazing.....just wow.
Beautiful
what a cool project, very elegant. can you share the name of the wheels, where I can find it? Thanks
Well, just add vacuum, some sweepers and you’ve got beautiful Roomba-style vacuum cleaner with this wonderful, clean aesthetic. Also, shocked when you made pogo-pins yourself.
Dude your channel is awesome, i wanna suggest the change of background music hahahaha it's too relaxing lol
I respectfully disagree :) I really like the music, one of the reasons being that it's relaxing :) Then again, I like classical music in general, not just the relaxing kind :)
Do you have a Spotify playlist I could follow? I'd love to have this music while I do my work!
Amazing. Which shield(module) is it, sir?
amazing
so cool man keep up the good work (how about a arm that sorts different nuts and bolts)
god! what do i need to study to be like you? (you are amazing!!!
OMG you have nice toys.
You are genius ....
*music pauses* Your call is important to us. Please stay on the line and a representative will be with you as soon as possible. Thank you.*music resumes*
You're an inspiration
+Gerard Walsh :) Thanks!
What did you study? You really know about everything! :o
Hey there,
What motors did you use to run the wheels?
Thanks :)
Very good!! I also liked the music. What is the name of this music?
Thanks! Its Beethoven. There is a link to the music in the description. :)
Thank you for a very nice video! I'm curious about the little vice you use when soldering the pogo pins, it seems like a very clever design. Did you make it or can you tell me where to get one?
Thanks! I got it from hobbyking, but I can't seem to find it anymore? It was really cheap I think, so I just added it to an other order to try it out, without expecting much. But it turned out to be one of my most used tools :)
yes, thats it :)
Did you ever find out where to get one of these tools?
Awesome build. I'm looking into creating a similar build with the same wheels from therobotshop. What motors did you use for this build? I'm having trouble finding the ones you used.
Thanks, also came from therobotshop -> 12V DC Motor 251RPM w/Encoder
Can i position the one of the wheel further than other two?
Hi, I'm making a robot vaccum cleaner, may I know what should I use to get the robot vaccum cleaner back to its base for charging?
The auto charging is very cool. But how the robot can find the location of charging . Is it auto find out or you are the controler?Please help me, i'm doing Auto charging for robot project ^^
The auto charging is very cool. Do you prefer using Fusion 360 over Rhino 3d?
Thanks! I enjoyed working with Rhino more than working with Fusion. Its easier and faster do do something quick. But the parametric thing is really the way to go. So much easier to make changes etc. So I don't think I'll switch back to Rhino any time soon.
Hey nice vid. What happened to this rotating cube?
Thanks, Its on a shelf over my desk. collecting dust, and not working :)
Very, very cool :) I have question - where I can find mathematical formula about delta robot with omni-wheel? Sorry for my English ;)
Thanks :)
This is what I use:
float vecX = moveVector.x*cos( dirAngle)-moveVector.y*sin(dirAngle);
float vecY = moveVector.x*sin( dirAngle)+moveVector.y*cos(dirAngle);
motorSpeed1 =vecX
motorSpeed2 =vecX*cos(toRad(-120))-vecY *sin(toRad(-120));
motorSpeed.3 =vecX*cos(toRad(120))-vecY *sin(toRad(120));
You can get there with basic geometry.
check my test simulation in the first video: ruclips.net/video/Q4cmc4eKXr0/видео.html
Thank you very much :)
Hi. I follow your steps how to make this robot. But i have a little problem. My robot cant turn 90 degres . Its cause the motor or driver ?. Please help
sir, can i ask you many thing about this project?
So fucking awesome
Where did you get the omni wheels? do they make larger ones? I am looking for something about this size but the height of a garbage can/stool to be used as a personal mobility device. My wheelchair takes up too much space and they seriously need to be able to go sideways.
They came from robotshop .com But I never saw omniwheels big enough for that. There are mecanum wheels for such applications. Stuff like this: www.aliexpress.com/item/6-inch-6inch-mecanum-wheel-brushless-non-gear-electric-scooter-hub-motor-phub-203/32832309990.html Good luck!
Alluvian, you can find omniwheels here www.rotacaster.com.au/rotatruck.html
can you make video explaining how omniwheels work and how to calculate motor rotation
I'm not really good at explaining, thats why I don't do that a lot :)
you can calculate te motor rotation like this:
float vecX = moveVector.x*cos( moveAngle)-moveVector.y*sin(moveAngle);
float vecY = moveVector.x*sin( moveAngle)+moveVector.y*cos(moveAngle);
motorSpeed1 =vecX
motorSpeed2 =vecX*cos(toRad(-120))-vecY *sin(toRad(-120));
motorSpeed.3 =vecX*cos(toRad(120))-vecY *sin(toRad(120));
thanks
kris, can you breif about component on this redesign robot, it seem you change the motor driver board and omniwheel tyre
I had the original driver boards laying around. but i wanted to build 2 robots, so i went with cheaper driver boards. same with the wheels, they are also cheaper+ a little bit bigger, so the robot can move faster.
so can you provide the detail or link the component for that?
zalig :) straf straffer KRIS!
where did you get the wheels ?
Hi what kind of lasercutter do you have?
It's a Lasersaur.
Great videos! What did you study? Or are you self taught?
Thanks! Self taught :)
Even more impresive haha. Keep up the great work :)
Electronic o mecatronic? This video please
OMG , VET !!!
Hahaa, de Jan ;) Thanks!
Why not just get like 3 qi chargers and 3 qi recievers, hook the recievers up in series, and then you have a ~15V power source.
can u email me the design of the robot?
dure wielen helaas :(
makes my roomba look retarded. Then again it makes itself look retarded..
great video!
Thanks! The tracking camera helps with the positioning :)
Another amazing video Kris! I'm the owner of Incept 3D. If you ever need industrial sized parts printed I would be happy to make them for you at cost or even for free. Mention Mike A in the e-mail.
I'll keep that in mind :) Thanks!
