The level of conditioning you have shows in how you fell and recovered in a split second, obviously not to stop from falling but to make yourself fall safely I mean. I was always wondering why are the hurdles positioned that way instead of turned around 180 degrees 🤔 When they are standing this way - when the runner trips on them, the pointy ends end up going straigt up towards the falling runner, making them extremely dangerous 😬
These drills are unnecessary; the whole program of running drills is obviously to ignite/ turn on/ build up the fast twitch fibres. That only requires turnover/ volume/ resting/ strength training as well tapering… These exercises have the potential for these type of accidents; pulling a muscle; tearing tendons etc Its unnecessary, having these items in place is for beginners and intermediary if required, but at top level where technique must be locked down/ locked in to muscle memory. The only drills is repetition/ rest and patience to tapering…
