Loved this band around this time. They were very popular in local scene in Ballarat. Many good nights spent at 'The Rat' listening to The Mavis's and the brilliant The Fat Thing!

This was the first song that I heard by them. Totally rocks, and I love the phased distorted guitar sound and the thumping drums in the chorus. I met them a few times in the 90's and they were really cool people.
To be honest I never really knew off the Mavis until my daughter made me aware of them . I still didn't take much notice until recently . There absolutely brilliant and very nice ppl . I have a chat now again with becie & I've spoken too Matt as well on IG . I'm probably there oldest fan 66 🎶🎶🎶🎶
