Loved this band around this time. They were very popular in local scene in Ballarat. Many good nights spent at 'The Rat' listening to The Mavis's and the brilliant The Fat Thing!
My fave song as a kid. Reminds me of screwing around on weird 90s internet chats and being utterly confused about myself. Good timing on the upload, too - it suddenly popped into my head today. :>
Hello future person, yes we are still listening to this song in *[insert date here]* . You have great taste in music too. You’re right 0% *[list bad stuff]* 100% *[list good stuff]* Nostalgia indeed. Have a lovely day!
This was the first song that I heard by them. Totally rocks, and I love the phased distorted guitar sound and the thumping drums in the chorus. I met them a few times in the 90's and they were really cool people.
To be honest I never really knew off the Mavis until my daughter made me aware of them . I still didn't take much notice until recently . There absolutely brilliant and very nice ppl . I have a chat now again with becie & I've spoken too Matt as well on IG . I'm probably there oldest fan 66 🎶🎶🎶🎶
Criminally underrated band. They were so much more than just (the brilliant) ‘Cry’...How does this only have this many views!?
I was a teenager at this time.....very underrated band. The 1990's was great 4 AUSSIE music!
Still here listening, 2023.

I was born in 1993. I was only 2 years old when this song was new. This is one of my favourite songs ever

Their best song. Takes me back to the summer of 96/97
heard this at pushover 96 when i was 13 and it felt different to every other song that day
Pushover was the best! I’m on the film clip for spider bait, up the front, while waiting for silverchair. I’m still a die hard silverchair fan!
We personally knew Matt and Becky. They were lovely

Becky Thomas in her shy as days, voice, looks & personality 👌Reminds me of a former co-worker who is the best all round person I've ever met
I just came to tell you that the beginning of this song sounds like Who You Are by Pearl Jam.
My fav🥰
🖤💀🖤
Use to film your concerts back in the 90’s. Hung out with you. Christine Anu treated me like a bitch 😂😂 still here listening 🥰🥰🥰
Christine Anu was nothing, and now just an overweight nothing.

I found a little plastic satchel at the market with a pink pill in it.
Who thinks I should take it ?
Nah, that dude joining in with that on/off falsetto was terrible.
There is definitely a very good song in here somewhere.
