The best music show for all generations is RAGE, and there was one absolute epic ABC music show called Beat Box that played on a Sat or Sun morning. It started with video of Rob Hurst playing drums on top of a highrise shot from a helicopter. Beat Box was like having a night out without ever leaving home.
If you're in Melbourne, they're playing George Lane on 29 December (Rebecca's coming back from California to take part). I think it's just gonna be Matt and Rebecca as a duo, though.
Hi. I wish there was at least 720p in the 60s, 70s, & 80s and 90's when music (and anime stories) were a bit better (2000s+ have some too of course). Great songs and videos like this are gonna be stuck and immortalized in blurry, low res, sadly. God bless, Proverbs 31
It is frustrating, for sure. Film formats were all pretty high res - even 8mm was effectively 720p - but no one was archiving everything digitally - too expensive!!!
Not sure what they where using, but recovery fucken loved that video feedback effect. I still have fond memories of Dylan fucking with just about everyone on the show by constantly doing stupid things in inside the effect whilst others where trying to focus on reading their cues or whatever
We didn't understand how good we had it in the 90's until life all fell apart later with the internet, smartphones and rubbish social media
And now, we are paying a helluva price.
Hi leokim
Not many appreciated this song at the time. Pretty well written and catchy af. Recovery revival needed for quality musical resurgence
This song was my perfect pop moment. I met the band at The Prince for $1 pots Monday. They were so cool. They said they all worked jobs as well. 😮
recovery... our generation's countdown
Except they actually sang live on recovery😉👌

I crossed both generations of Countdown and Recovery and Recovery was the better of the two.
What a great drummer! Excellent feel and sense of bpm.
And shes playing traditional grip
You’re kidding aren’t you? She’s dragging something awful.

The perfect pop song ❤
Great drummer and excellent song
An excellent live performance. I forgot how good bands were then.
Especially for doing completely live a song that was very much a studio multi-track creation.
Saw these guys so many times live and chatted with them after gigs. They were really nice!!
Killer song... Killer drums.
Absolutely wonderful.
It’s 2020 and this song is constantly stuck in my head in saying that female singer is hot
nah man the drummer
Yeah true, but I do have a bit of h#%n for the percussionist mm :)
So 90s
Damn never got a chance to see them live but i wish i had!!!
I did, and I still have the tix! :)

I thought this song was sung by Savage Garden! The Mavis's are a Massive Hit, I bought there Albums + the Remix Album
Awesome No# Guys
This one was basically peak Savage Garden but for the cool kids. In other words, it was brilliant.
Do I smell a fairlight video processor!

@@shayneoneill1506 I think it’s when you point a camera at a live video monitor you get that effect
I’m his nephew
That's awesome Hunter.

I'd have an hour shower with blondie..........
This was SUCH a fav of mine in the 90s
This sounds a bit lame....I'd go the original
Hour shower with blondie 😁😁👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Serial Pest?
Is the lead singer gay?
Yes
@@graymcmic1419 Correct, though despite that him and Fiona Horne dated -- the song is actually about her.
