I feel like this track starts off slow to “lay the trap down” and then picks up in the end especially with the girls saying “charge” the poison has sunk in for the kill so the beat picks up. When I hear this song, I think of the girls laying low for the hunt, sets the traps with poison and then charges in for the kill. The title “Crazy Over You” plus the layout of the whole song reminds me of the mental state of a person who has lost all grasp of reality and zeroes in on one person.
I just want to say that we can’t expect all #BLACKPINK songs has upbeat beat because they want to explore things they haven’t done before to their music. We shouldn’t be disappointed because the song started with strong beat and slowed in the chorus.
