When Shadow took over Mobius (and Sally's kingdom), he became a cruel and heartless tyrant, and Sally's people seemed to be in trouble because of Shadow's ruthlessness, and Sally just wanted to protect her people and restore peace, but she only had two options: Either marry Shadow even though she did not love him or continue watching Shadow as he terrorized her kingdom and possibly get worse, and she chose to marry someone she did not love over continue watching her kingdom suffer to just for the safety and well-being of her people.🥰🥰
I love this arc so much more now that I know the story behind Penders. Flynn already delivered the biggest middle finger in the world with the enerjack arc, where he made Knuckles’ storyline actually relevant to the plot for the first time in Archie Sonic history, and more importantly, he killed off Locke, which had a nice bonus of de-canonizing Penders’ fanfic trainwreck known as 25 years later. This Arc and the Silver Saga were just the victory lap. I love every bit of what Flynn has done here and I hope he lives in Ken Penders’ mind rent-free forever
@@christopherbravo1813 The most important thing to know is that Penders wrote in Locke dying in 25 Years Later so that Flynn wouldn’t be able to kill him off in the present timeline. Flynn did so anyways, which both progressed the storyline of the present, and made 25 Years Later no longer canon to the main timeline. I’m totally fine with that, since 25 Years Later was super fanfic-ish and weird to begin with. Of course Flynn went a step further here, taking that weird mess of a storyline and making really great story arc with it.
It’s the greatest pleasure to watch, everything is so wonderfully done, the voice acting, animation, music makes you feel like you’ve watched a whole movie!
I like that the female echidna villain at least had SOME moral integrity and told her troops to not harm Sonic and Sally’s children. Along with Tails’s two kids as well.
I like the future stories that gave us some level of closure with the abrupt end of the Archie era. But I don’t like the characterization of Shadow. They made him a villain when he’s a hero. The mischaracterization of Shadow as an edgy morally ambiguous character is a shame. But even Sega did that. His role as an antagonist is not as a bad guy but a rival. He’s really more like Sonic’s big brother that doesn’t like Sonic’s immaturity and cavalier personality. Shadow definitely thinks his way is superior but he’s not the type to conquer the world. Nor marry for political purposes. Really the best interpretation of Shadow has been in the Sonic Prime series on Netflix. It’s not a whole lot but he has that exact characterization I described. Even where season 1 ended and he’s attacking Sonic, it’s out of anger for the world being destroyed by Sonic’s recklessness. Totally different from being an evil rival for the sake of being edgy.
Apparently one of the writers planned to write a story where Amy was on an adventure at Little Planet with the Time Stones while this was happening, but they never ended up getting to it
i LOVE sonic universe because it usually focuses on other characters than sonic and this is my favorite arc from sonic universe i dont care that some stuff from it doeasnt make sense all i care is: sonic is a daddy tails is a daddy knuckles is a daddy and its the cutest thing ever i love it that they have families now the hole "next generations of heroes" idea is something that i cant get enough of every once in a while i read this arc again and i will feel much better after that

Man, I LOVE this comic! I like how it shows how a lot of the freedom fighters have kids of their own, such as Sonic and Sally, Tails, Knuckles, Bunnie, and Antoine, as well as some of the members of the Chatix's as well. But seriously, Shadow became a mad power hungry dictator!?😨 I guess its true, they say power corrupts, but I don't think they meant that literally! And Tikal ended up merging with Chaos and when exposed to chaos energy can turn her into that😱??!!! Talk about a lot of twists and turns, good and bad. But one of the things I love about this comic, they take place 30 years in the future, THE FUTURE❤️🔥💥😆!! I think it would be around the year 2030, or something 🤔. This is why I love these kind of comics! Especially the ones that take place in the future!❤️🔥
Amidst all the chaos and turmoil, the retcons, the genesis waves, the pain, the loss, cliffhanger after cliffhanger, unresolved arcs, endless angst and lingering nightmares. Somehow, somewhere, some way. Sonic and the gang got their happy ending, finally.
Oh my goodness, I love and remember this story, I may have not been a big Sonic comic book fan but I loved some of the characters and the Archie comics. I never thought I would encounter the aftermath story where Sonic and sally are married again, even so it was nice to see again ❤✨👍
I really love the characters and voices and their talents, especially their kids, its really cute. But i'm not happy that shadow is Bad, I mean, this isn't him the hedghog I knew.
With life as it is, all the years I've grown trying to do the adult thing, it's so easy to forget the feeling of being a kid. Watching this vid was a reminder of the very first time I found a Sonic the Hedgehog comicbook in my old locol book store and feeling a smile slowly grown on my face. I watched the SatAM series and when it ended was a real bummer and it would be years finding that excitement again until finding that comic. Thank you for letting me feel that same joy once again. Technically this is an alternate timeline. King Sonic travel back in time to stop himself from traveling through the Cosmic Interstate for the first time as his repetitive zone hopping created a tear that will eventually explode like a Big Bang in the next 30 years. Whatever changes he made cause him to be removed from existence during his final battle with Eggman.
She was heartbroken after seeing Sonic and Sally get married, so she committed suicide by jumping off a tall building because she couldn't stand seeing Sonic being with someone else. Just kidding. I honestly have no idea.

Hello!! Official Voice Actor Of King Shadow For RUclips! This was done really well, i was looking so long for a comic dub on this whole comic.
After all these time I still loved the scene where Skye literally became a spinning top & hit everybody in that room!
