I have been watching NASCAR stop motions since the days of Browndoor back in 2008, and I have got to say your videos are high quality. Ive just watched all 3 races of season 4, and I cant wait for the rest of the season. Keep up the great work dude!!
I am just in awe with this series. This is probably the best stopmotion series I have ever seen. There are so many details added into this series that I don't usually see in stop motion races. The crash damage is amazing, even though it kills me a little to see them all torn up. I can't do that in my series because I am on a budget. The graphics are amazing, and I am surprised how few series use them. The track looks absolutely stunning. It's very clear that you put a LOT of effort in the tracks especially. There are so many little details around the track that I notice, and it makes it feel more engaging. And finally, the actual stopmotion is fantastic. It looks like the cars are actually moving! And it's incredible how frequently you can get these out. You really deserve to have more subscribers, and be compared to the likes of ACS and the Double E Cup Series.

I made it in Photoshop mostly by myself, I just took some inspiration from modern tickers and older tickers and combined them to make what would satisfy me. The actual scrolling ticker is made on After Effects and it's much easier than you'd think.

How do you make your tracks and what kind of stop motion app do you use and how do you make those edits when it shows the picture of the driver and the racing order grid up at the top, I wanna improve my stop motion
I'll go down the list in order of your questions. 1. How do I make my tracks? - I built a table and painted the top of it with chalkboard paint. I use chalk to draw out the tracks and make my walls out of foam boards. I print out logos and use foliage bought at places like "Hobby Lobby." 2. What kind of Stop-motion app do I use? - I don't use a stop-motion app. Unlike a lot of young stop-motion filmmakers, I don't use one. I use a Canon Rebel T6 camera to shoot my races. I then import everything onto my PC and edit through PowerDirector. That is a basic paid-editing software that can handle creating some decently heavy effects. Editing on a PC or laptop is the way to go with stop motions. Don't use movie maker or mobile device editing apps unless that it the only thing you have. 3. How do I make the ticker graphics? - I actually don't make them. I have a friend, named Maxwell, who has come along and done them for me. Although, I know how to do it and the editing process for those is tedious. You have to create the graphics in a separate software, import them into your video editing software, mask them (Hide parts of the graphic behind something/layer an item), keyframe them (Move them). Everything is done by hand and Maxwell does an amazing job with it! 4. Other tips. - Take many many many pictures and set the duration of each photo very low. That is my biggest issue currently is stop-motion speed. My next race totals in over 2,100 pictures. I'd suggest doing tests and letting people critique you on how you are doing. Do NOT GIVE UP!!!!! Stop-motion is the most tedious of all of filmmaking. You have to have steady hands and a lot of patience. It is a lot harder than it looks to make a decent stop-motion. -I wish you the best of luck! I can't wait to see your progress!
