Sad times. I was trying to talk my 78 year old father out of going for another booster when he was called in last week. He doesn't watch anything other than BBC/RTE and said "why would they tell you to get it if they knew there was something wrong". There are still an awful lot of people who are still fast asleep and I end up sounding like the nutter when I speak up. There was a 3 year old boy wearing a dress in my sons nursery yesterday in a tiny school in Co Antrim and his mother and father say he "identifies as a girl "- I thought this nonsense was only happening in LA. I wasn't ready for what i see as this level of narcissistic evil from parents - pushing an innocent child down dark paths to make themselves believe that they are some newly evolved higher level of human than the rest of us. I've become convinced there is pure evil at work on this earth in recent years. I'm trying to find my way back to god after what i realise now has been a lifetime of brainwashing from society resulting in me being a life long atheist. I'm reading the bible for the first time in decades. I'm not finding much inspiration so far to be honest but I'm not giving up.

However, greatest impact has come through humans enslavement to metarialistic entrapments(mainly TV-older generation-, Internet devices-younger and older generations). Holywood and popular music and most contemporary arts act like a cultural wrecking mechanism. Religion on the other hand can be harmful to spiritual growth if institutionalised and indoctrinated(Schism in Christianity stands as testament to this fact). I love how you define Christianity by coming into a relationship with God(through Lord Jesus who was a human and humans can only have meaningful relationships with other humans), who loves you and you grow into loving Him. ❤

I am appalled by what's being done to this country, most people are indoctrinated into caring about a Muslim Israeli conflict in Palestine/Israel rather than focusing on the very real systemic genocide of the Irish people. But reading poems as beautiful as they may be will not stop anything, we all know what would actually affect change but nobody wants to go there, so what can we do? I mean this earnestly You mention how Jesus came to connect with people, but it tests a man's faith when he turned up then, as opposed to now. I've found my own way to continue my faith, I don't believe in Christianity in a literal sense, but ideologically. Jesus represents to me a man who carried life's burdens, he bore the cross, a symbol of his beliefs and was willing to carry it with him and die on it, not just on the cross, but on his creed, on his terms and for his cause, when everyone persecuted him for it. That to me is God. God is a man, God is a soldier, God is within you and me when we fight for what is right in this world of evil. My grandmother, a devout Catholic instilled this value within me as a young boy, I'd return to her house after being bullied in school, and after having fought back. She unlike my mother did not scold me but leaned to me and said "If you know in your heart and soul that you are fighting for the right cause, don't ever back down, you fight for what you believe in no matter the consequence". That to me is a core tenet of Christianity, but how far will we go to carry our crosses?
It is written in the Bible that mankind fell from the grace of God and became separated. This fall from grace is the descent from God consciousness to that of the ego mind. God consciousness is all encompassing, it is the power of unconditional love, it is unity with everything, people, animals and the earth itself. The ego mind is separation, it is been alone in this earth and fuelled by fear, it is all about me, myself and I. The ego mind has no morals and will do whatever it takes to get ahead, at its worse it becomes psychotic, narcissistic and manipulative, study those who have achieved great wealth in this world. Or, as the native Americans say, inside the mind of every man, there is a white wolf and a black wolf, the one that dominates is the one you feed the most. I find it quite amusing, that a country like ours, who for decades has been one of the biggest migrators to the U.K. and the U.S.A. and even Australia, now sit back and complain that people from other countries come here, citing it is the type of undocumented young males that are causing the problems. Look into how many Irish people ended up in prison in the U.K., the U.S.A. and further afield. Gods love is not racist, religion created by man causes that, if Jesus Christ looked down upon his Church now would he be proud. Those who are meant to represent him on this earth, sexually abused children, took money from those who could ill afford to give, made money from unmarried mothers, selling their new born to the highest bidder, the list goes on. Such people have no connection to God, would God turn away those seeking refuge.
This lad looks well fed and healthy maybe nothing only agro keeps him happy. Sad really. Looks like he is the problem. Must go now and collect a few quid.
It will soon be the responsibility of honest historians to remind people of the facts that used to be obvious. For instance, before you tear down a fence make sure you know the reason that fence was put up in the first place, also, going to church does not make one a Christian anymore than standing in a stable makes one a horse.
Having Courage to change things, strength within, kindness, choice and ability to vote, knowledge, love, critical thinking, family, community, friends,freedom, fun, laughter, or the opposite. The ego mind is separation, it is been alone in this earth and fuelled by fear, it is all about me, myself and I.
The ego mind has no morals and will do whatever it takes to get ahead, at its worse it becomes psychotic, narcissistic and manipulative, study those who have achieved great wealth in this world.

I find it quite amusing, that a country like ours, who for decades has been one of the biggest migrators to the U.K. and the U.S.A. and even Australia, now sit back and complain that people from other countries come here, citing it is the type of undocumented young males that are causing the problems.
Look into how many Irish people ended up in prison in the U.K., the U.S.A. and further afield.
