The engine hanging out the front gives it such a unique handling characteristic. Turn it quick in a hairpin and you can feel the rear come round like a pivot. So different to a bmw but you have to drive it differently as well.

The pliancy comes from the adaptive dampers that comes standard on the 2.0 Quattro for both the A4 and A5 sportback. Something that the G20 should have for our market.
My Q5 3 litre was as you say quick and easy to drive. But was it exciting? No. The Haldex system is practical for grip but has no soul for driving feel. Even my GLC feels more rewarding to drive as its rear wheel drive biased.
It's so hard to justify a purchase of this with its price point over a stinger gt(Kia) , which bring in more power , pretty similar body contours and driving potential
The A5 is like Agent K from Men In Black. Gets the job done efficiently, no drama. The Stinger is more like agent J. A bit of a drama, less efficient but gets the job done.
The choice is not that obvious. My lease of A5 230HP quattro comes to an end and i stand in front of the decision if i should take Stinger, S5 or M340i. I have driven all 3 and Kia is indeed very interesting and the cheapest option...but mediocre breaks, "floating" handling and some small things that piss you off (wireless charger overheated my phone after 30 mins, very noisy >140km/h, some cheapish buttons, outdated electronics). Actually I felt relieved when I finished the test drive of Stinger GT version and came back to my old 230HP A5...
C300 vfm, G20 if u want the newest ride, A5 if u need all weather grip. All have it’s merits but most would go with the C300 becos it’s cheapest and most atas, gd for impressing the other half and their family haha.
Can you and Kon secure the items in the car before a genting run? Not doing a phone and smart tag review are you? wheels skidding are nice. not the phone and smart tag “skidding”.
G30 is more comfy, quieter, plusher, but it's a big car so definitely not as agile as these smaller ones. But you get the BMW linear and fluidic driving characteristics in these mountain roads. Something Audis cant have due to the inherent engine placement
Most Audis without quattro will be more fun to drive at normal speeds and feels more spirited 80% of the time. Only at the extremes will the front wheels get overwhelmed. And at extremes, fwd audis are more unpleasant to drive than fwd volvos or ford or vw or just about anything because of the front heavy engines. The whole car was setup to have 4wd but taken out that kinda feel when at extreme driving conditions

Yea i know different segment. But what about ur thought compare to 4motion VW golf R? There are in VAG does handling still the same?
My impression of VW handling is that they always felt more agile to drove than Audis. But Audi has that absolute planted feel at high speed cruising
