Camael has to be one of my favorite angels, design wise and lore. I mean come on, angel of destruction and death, that leads the powers?? That's so damn badass, he even looks cool too, he pulled up so politely, then decided it was time to fight. My first time hearing the angels theme too, I was hype af
I agree. I'd have also liked if some sidequests had follow-up quests. Like that Incubus in Shinegawa, I really wanted to see if ended up with Silky or not.
A little. Though I think posture has something to do with it. And I think that's kind of the point. God may have sat on the throne last, He is ultimately one god among many. Though that doesn't change that He alone had the chutzpah to use that position to cast down all other Gods from the heavens.
@@cheesepuffsthings but that is objectively false. God is not "one god among many", or else He would not have been able to defeat the other gods and create the world along with everything in it, including humans. and if God was just "one god among many", the other "gods" would not serve him, nor would the angels be at all loyal to him given their BS origin in this game. congratulations Atlus, you've found a way to make a version of God worse than all of your others despite not giving God any screentime.
But Baal and Amon-Ra were his predecessors, and humans existed during their rule. And the angels follow Him in because he's the only Capital-G God left. That, and I'm pretty sure they're just made that way. The other gods follow him because as incomplete, debased beings they stand no chance against an original Nahobino. Zeus and Odin practically spell it out during the conference, and once they confirm God's death and the dissolution of the Condemnation they skedaddle.
@@cheesepuffsthings so that's it, then? the One True God is just some guy in a jumpsuit with unreasonably long hair who is only better than everyone else because he somehow took their "knowledge"? why can't they just call it power? that way it'd make more sense. and how can we be certain that God didn't initially have the throne prior to Amon-Ra or Baal, and that the "stealing knowledge" thing wasn't just God trying to keep an army of selfish psychotic gods from constantly trying to steal his throne and tear up his world?
Well, first off the jumpsuit and hair is just Proto-Fiend Aogami. It's called "Knowledge" because that's what it is; Knowledge of Good and Evil. It's the Gods' ability to create and maintain the world. Besides, Adam and Eve didn't eat from the "Tree of Power" in paradise. And God is referred to as the "Young Creator" by multiple sources in the game. A number of gods, Lahmu and Baal in particular, are rather incensed that a God younger than them rules. Not to mention the Entity that possesses Amanozako when you're gathering the keys to the Empyrean says you're following in the footsteps of God's journey to the Throne.
Didn’t realize the dialogue changes depending on if you’ve fought Abdiel or not, the little details in this game are so cool
Yeah, it was a unique touch.
I like that the generic angels are so polite, it makes their boss look even worse😂

I loved SMTV but it really needed more quest lines like this to flesh out the story
Play out Khonsu’s if you haven’t already

She rejoins in a later area.
@@OsnosisBones o, that makes sense
She can be added from the nagatacho leyline
Found him at level 76 lmao
At level 93 lol he went back to dust in a round
Banger battle theme
is it just me, or is Camael smaller than his bodyguards?
and of course they have to make God as un-special as possible.
