The risk is half the fun, Keith. You never really know what you are going to get with a crap camera or an eBay job lot. The Chinon by comparison looks a bargain. One advantage is that it is reloadable, a disposable camera with HP5 in it costs around £19.99.
Thanks Andrew. The reprieve after dropping the Olympus made the results seem so much sweeter. Plus, a Sekonic! For £2! Life can be sweet sometimes. Cheers, Keith
Hi Ivor. I have a microphone and I will endeavour to use it more. Until I upgrade my equipment, I have to record through the mike separate to the video and then spend some time synchronising. I know the sound is better but I've been a bit lazy. Thanks for the feedback, Keith
@@theoldunsshot1005 Well done you. I respect people who make the best of what they have. Not everyone has an 8k Sony and a radio mic to make teir recordings.
Nice shots. Sometimes simple is best.
Thanks, you are right. Cheers, Keith
Very impressed with those shots from such an inexpensive camera. A real bargain!
Thanks David. Sometimes things just work out. Cheers, Keith
Hi Keith, that's amazing. Take 2 cameras on a trip, neither work so buy another one in an antique shop for £12 and use that instead. Great results.
Thanks Andrew. The Gods of Photography were watching out for me! Cheers, Keith
Good grief! A Sekonic for two quid!!!! Very well done sah!
Thanks Mr L. I was understandably chuffed as I was outbid so many times when I was trying on ebay. Cheers, Keith

Sounds like a coffee grinder... Great photos, but mostly due to the photographer.
Many thanks superuser! It's great to try these old family cameras and see what they offer. Cheers, Keith
Try to get a Cosina CT1a a great camera for about thirty squid or less.I found mine in mint condition for thirty....................................
Thanks Russell. I like the idea of the CT1a, but it doesn't really qualify for the "Crap Camera" series because it's a good one. Cheers, Keith
When you can, please get a microphone instead of using the in camera mic. Useful info here. Thanks.
