A classic Wainwright hike. Those views looked absolutely stunning. There's no better place than the Lake District on a day like that. Keep up the great work, Alex!
well done, so glad i found your channel its through people like you that i can relive my past walking in the mountains you are living the dream keep up the good work.
Always a delight to see an Alex video in my subs, even better grabbed a large mug of tea and watched it on the tv :) gorgeous scenery. Cant wait for more amazing hikes in the Lake District :)
I do so many walks around by you and because of you. It would be great to bump into you on one of the walks. Loving the content as usual Alex! Amazing channel! Always looking out for your uploads
Great video Alex. I hope you’ve both settled in well, to one of the worlds most stunning places. The Lakes in Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn are absolutely captivating! It’s my home away from home. We had beautiful weather in late October, we’ve been going as a family every October for the last 18 years!
Thank you very much Simon 😊 very glad to hear you had some good weather, it’s been VERY wet here the past few weeks, all worth it for that one sunny day in the fells though 😊
I just got same type pack fastback love it montane trailblazer 25l wider harness and fit so much nicer on your back than heavy pack also after 40 years wearing big old 4 season boots gore tex trail runners are bliss just got watch your footing more but so light on feet
Yes I completely agree, I love using the fast packing bags, sit really nice and snug to the body and I quite often forget I’m even carrying it! I also wear trail runners on nearly all of my hikes, unless doing something more technical like a scramble. Feet feel so much fresher, just have to accept the fact that they’re probably going to get wet
Super video Alex, and what weather and views! 😀 Hope the fridge arrived OK. Looking forward to some great videos from the Lakes. Was that a Rab jacket you were wearing on this hike?
Wow, what perfect weather you had on that one Alex. Amazing views in all directions! It is good to hear you are settling into your new house. I really like the idea of the Yorkshire three peaks for a video. Would you try and do it within the 12 hours challenge time? I am pretty sure you would do it in less than 11 hours tbh! Great video and really looking forward to the next one!
Thank you very much Greg 😊 I’d love to try tackle it in less than 12 hours, I really fancy attempting it in winter so I’d better be under 12 otherwise the head torch might run out of batteries 😂
Thank you very much! I completely forgot to put the route in the description and your message reminded me so thank you! 😂 it should be there now, cheers 😊

Thank you very much Peter! Yes it was a Rab jacket, it’s called the Rab Borealis, great as a wind stopper to take the chill off!

Happy I found your account !
My birthday is in January - is there any hike routes that you recommend for a winter hike in the UK?
Did you see the face in the rocks at 13:32 or was it just me
Great video as always! I can’t find the route on your Strava feed. Is it set to private?
Thank you very much! I completely forgot to put the route in the description and your message reminded me so thank you! 😂 it should be there now, cheers 😊
Hi, is there an option on this walk to do the scramble “the bell” to get to the summit?
What route did you take Alex?
would it be alright to do this in winter
