Her ysaye was one of the best of the competition. However, I’m Not sure how I feel about the nearly-inaudible parts reoccurring so often. While it was certainly engaging, I felt like there’s a better way to relay softness in your storytelling without your bow sliding off the strings that they barely make any sound. Too much gliding and poor bow connection. Sounds skidish to me and not pleasant to the ear. Her ending was powerful and overall, I love her tone. She has great intonation too.

Her interpretations are all sooo unique, especially for the caprice!! Never heard any version like that, the sound of your violin is amazing!
