2:54 Actually, Playmates is reusuing their Voltron ‘84 toys this summer or fall to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Voltron! They still own the Voltron license.
I don't know about anyone else but I have seen almost all of those TMNT toys in discount stores such as Ross and Burlington Coat Factory. Also, Walmart was selling the other TMNT figures from Playmates for 6 and 7 dollars on clearance. A lot of the Power Rangers fanbase are not kids, it's primarily adults who grew up watching Power Rangers during weekday kid show lineup. Hasbro has to find a way to make Power Rangers a part of mainstream entertainment. Power Rangers is an incredible franchise with a lot of potential. I would hate to see it mismanaged when there is so much that could be done with the franchise.
It's a great news. Playmates can make like TMNT with vintage reissues...Can you imagin all the classic toys in sale AGAIN???? Figures, Megazords...THE POWER MORPHER WITH BLASTER...They can use the same mold from Bandai and not like Hasbro did with new designs (remember the ugly flip heads figures? Or the BIG morpher ?) I hope to see soon news from Playmates.

I find the playmates toy line looks kinda cheap. I know they are for a young audience but at least Hasbro Lighting collection looked more collectible.
