Your comments of the kids enjoying the heavy equipment is close to my heart as well. I grew up at a CalTrans (California Department of Transportation) highway maintenance station where my dod was the supervisor. He showed me and let me run a Case W24 front loader and I’ve never forgotten the smooth, quiet, seemingly effortless power it had!
The more experiences like this you can give your kids the better. I have 8 kids and the younger ones really like to go along. I take em along. as much as possible.
Very aggravating when something in the hydraulics isn't working right. Makes u wanna burn the bloody thing! Looky there I was able to use bloody in a sentence :)
Haha ! You'll be an English gentleman by the time we've finished with you old fruit, what what ? Yes, little problems like that can ruin an otherwise excellent machine.
Hi I’ve been using an 8080 today dropping kerbs today and I have had the same problem I have had the kerb layers shouting up up slowly but you pull back and it seems like forever before anything happens and then when it does it shoots up real quick then I remembered your video !
Hi just wonder how does the 8ton mini excavator compare to the 3cx in terms of digging power with the back actor would the 3cx be similar in bucket sizes ect thanks
Hey peanut ! As you can see we've been using the Fastrac but I've been gathering parts and material and as soon as we get 5 minutes free, we will start putting it all together and will film it.
I don't think the issue is at the joystick end Donald, it's more likely at the valve chest end. At the end of the day, it was a hired in machine for that job but it's a shame because we had it when it was new and it's had a hard life in only two years. I've got some machines on evaluation currently and when I've finished I'll post some videos.
I have it worse on a 2007 jcb is 130 except it’s on the slew. It’s dangerously bad. Makes it unusable absolutely hate the dirty thing. In general just not a nice machine. Never buy one again anyway.

I think it's good to give kids the same chances we had or didn't in some cases.
Hi Lord Muck in the 80,s we had a new sitemaster with a backacter that so quick on the dipper, cured by JCB fitting a extra pump to slow it down

I had one of the older round shape ones a week ago and it was a real pleasure to drive.
i FOUND THE 1944 OFFICIAL War time Handbook for the 1/4 ton 4x4truck willys overland modelMB and fordmofel GPW
are the controls electric if so that sounds slightly more complicated to try and adjust!
nice video thanks.
Years ago we would strip, clean and adjust the control units but now they are far more complex and would probably involve re-calibrating.
sounds like a spool valve is stuck or it could be electrical

Very comparable and if ‘backactor’ Work was the main thing with a 3CX then the 8 tonner would be a better choice.
great video how's life going for you when you think ur gonna do the video with the air compressor on the tractor

Damned annoying when you're grading
You should buy a Hitachi....☺
Did you find out what the problem was I'm having similar problems with my JCB 802?
Apparently it's to do with pressure settings.
Lord Muck ah ok makes sense thanks 🤙🏻...looking forward to more videos
Are you able to swap joystick units from the left to the right unit to isolate the problem?

Lord Muck it would be interesting to hear what comes about from it. Good vidja!
