I spoke highly of the Jup-X and the Juno-X when they were released at their respective times. I was just listening to demos and watching videos. No real experience to back up my praise. But now I have a Juno-X and I’m so please to find out that the reality matches my imagination!!
The Juno X has turned my synth world upside down. Roland could have Thrown the kitchen sink as they did with the Integra or Korgs kronos. But there’s actually a method to their madness this time around. It’s well thought out. And it’s a joy to use. Considering all you get and then some. Would love to see a D50 inside but not complaining….. best wishes to you.
This is well explained. I’m just figuring out my way around this beast of a synth. It may be redundant but I would also get the Xm for the portability like a sound module. I’ve also obtained the WC-1 which is awesome. Like you I love tweaking and editing.
It’s not redundant because the XM can accommodate situations due to its size and batteries. But you need to consider EXm model expansions and if they can be purchased once but used for both XM & X
Great explanation... makes the Jupiter X easier to understand. I still think my Fantom 6 is easier to get around on tho. But...no xv5080 for you. I'm liking the longer videos. Keep them coming Ben. Thanks!
The shortcut for mixing the part levels using the OSC/AMP sliders is not mentioned in the manuals, i.e. I could not find it. Has anybody found this information somewhere?
Hey Ben! Do you know if you can load up the vocal designer expansion inside the Juno X, The Fantom (Flagship) or the Fantom 06? Or... is it Just For The Jupiter's?
I hope this makes it easier for me? I feel quite confused by the terms scene, tone. When all I want to do is play a Jupiter 8! and initialize a simple patch
Thank you , great video! Holding down the part button to get to mixing volume levels with the mixer section is gold☀️First seen here👍

thanks Ben, more useful than you'll know. Roland support tutorials are extremely basic and the manual is not much better .....😋
Happy to help!
Thanx for your tuturial.. fred(E)rick..😮😮😮
Excellent tutorial !

Thanks for your input. Good or bad. I’m learning so much and glad share this information.
Thank you!
Raleigh Simmons SoundCloud “Hebrew I Am” Man you are an absolute Inspiration to me and I just bought the Jupiter X. I love this.
I love this synth. But ended up selling. I had sampled the sounds that meant the most to me.
I am going to purchase your sounds they are outstanding sounds.
whatever part you're on its actually just the AMP slider to adjust part volume.
Does this mean the hold-part switch shortcut as shown in the video does not work?

Good instructive video I'm just wondering has the XM all the functions & features as the Jupiter X has ?
Yes it does but the controls vary. You may want to research what functions you will have to menu dive because of the the less controls on the XM
@@park171 Thank you

Sorry. I do not. I just sold my Jupiter. And switched to using all my Custom MPC X packs.

Your right. It is confusing. This complexity takes away from the spirit of the retro synth
Would you be willing to answer a few questions by phone on scenes and patches?
